Verse Of The Day : He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Romans 4 : 20 , 21
LISTEN : We tend to grow weak in faith when we perceive or know that all is not well. We panic and worry because we believe that things are getting out of control. As a result, we are tempted to make regrettable decisions that are likely to hurt and haunt us thereafter. However, if you can grow your faith with the word of God, you can never be a victim of weak faith and its consequences. When Abraham was waiting for the child of promise (Isaac), truly, it looked like waiting for an eternity, yet, he had to wait for him patiently. Not minding his age and that of his wife as at then; he still believed that God is faithful to His word. The Bible says, ” He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” (Romans 4 : 20 , 21).
Amazingly, Abraham was not moved by circumstances around him, but propelled to victory by the power of faith. Beloved, how strong is your faith? Can it sustain you in trying times? You need to be strong in faith. Faith will keep you focused and believing when the road is “rough and narrow.” A person of faith never stops believing what God has promised. (Romans 4 : 20 ; Luke 1 : 37). Besides, a person of faith is not distracted by circumstances, but directed by divine instructions and promises. (Romans 4 : 21 ; Genesis 18 : 14 ; Jer 32 : 17, 27). Beloved, whatever your situation is, do not give up hope. Instead, determine to grow your faith stronger and stronger.
