Verse Of The Day : But let all those that put their trust in you rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them: let them also that love your name be joyful in you. Psalms 5 : 11

LISTEN : A time like this when bad news seems to be the top story on the news, or main headline in the paper all over the world, is it possible to be happy? When we don’t feel safe because of high level of insecurity, economic meltdown, frustration and crimes around the world, can there still be a place for joy in our hearts? When we face problems and fear-induced situations all the time, can joy ever be found in our hearts? Beloved, what we face daily in the world may not encourage joy, but faith in God can create atmosphere for it. No doubt, we all are born into troubles of this world, but should learn how to live to survive the pressures thereof. My dear, you are not to respond to problems with worry, or fear, but faith in God. Problems and bad news of this life will never allow you to smile or laugh, until you choose to smile and laugh by faith.

Those who put there trust in God are not afraid of problems or bad news. The Bible says, “How blessed is the one who obeys the LORD, who takes great delight in keeping his commands. He does not fear bad news. He is confident; he trusts in the LORD.” (Psalms 112 : 1 , 7). Surely, bad news cannot frustrate anyone whose confidence is in the living God. That is why such person can still find happiness in the midst of crisis. Friend, you cannot find true joy in the world, uninterrupted joy is only in God. (John 16 : 33). There is a level of joy and peace those who love God and put there trust in Him enjoy. But you cannot have access to it until you have a relationship with God. It is your relationship with God that gives you the peace and joy of God. Beloved, if your trust is in God, rejoice! Do not allow any situation to kill your joy. Always rejoice in season and out of season. Be wise!
