Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes. Mark 9 : 23

LISTEN : God does not reward anyone who undermines the power of faith. (Hebrews 11 : 6). “Uncommon Results are tied to faith, hence, no faith, no extraordinary results.” Ask anyone who has achieved a lot for himself, you will be surprised to hear that, the process that leads to the achievement involved risk taking. In the same way, you should learn to step out in faith and attempt what others dread, if that is what God wants you to do, to achieve results. Friend, “To soar with eagles you must have an eagle’s nature.” You must see what others cannot see, go where others cannot go, and do things differently from the common people. Faith is an extraordinary force, hence, to achieve extraordinary results, you must do extraordinary things. Your faith should rise above your fears and trials (Psalms 118 : 17). Beloved, the essence of faith is to arrest your fears and not to allow fear collapse your faith.

When your faith is alive, you will function like a heavy wind capable of removing all obstacles on your path. (Mark 9 : 23). Our verse of the day is an assurance that nothing will be impossible to you if you have faith. Beloved, you can be unstoppable if your faith is unwavering, unrelenting, and adventurous like Esther’s faith. When Queen Esther discovered that her people the Jews, were faced with extermination from wicked Haman, she undertakes to go to the King uninvited against the law of the kingdom. She knows such visit could cost her, her own life, yet, she went by faith to save her people from being wiped out. Her faith was rugged as she affirms her resolve to meet the King. She said, “Go, gather together all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me… I and my maidens will also fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.” (Esther 4 : 16). Oh what a display of faith! Beloved, to experience the benefits of serving God, you must learn to walk by faith and not by sight. Be wise!
