Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Your perpetual ruins will be rebuilt; you will reestablish the ancient foundations. You will be called, ‘The one who repairs broken walls, the one who makes the streets inhabitable again.’ Isaiah 58 : 12

LISTEN : Why create troubles when we have enough of it in the world today? What we need now is not more problems, but solutions. God wants you to be part of solutions in the world, not problems. When the Isaelites under successive kings transgressed against God, He handed them over to their enemies countless times to be tormented. Worst of all, their houses were burnt and their walls broken down. They were forced to go to captivity in other lands against their own will. (2Kings 17 : 7 – 24 ; Proverbs 14 : 34). They undermined their foundation and God’s covenant with them, therefore, God abandoned them to their own shame. Though, their disaster was not caused by all, yet, was suffered by all. That is exactly what we are facing today. Some create problems for others to solve. It is so painful that everything is fallen apart in the world. People are creating more problems than solving the ones already created.

Beloved, God is looking for ‘solution – providers.’ He is looking for those who will cause His people to go back to their origin. (Jeremiah 6 : 16). We all have missed it. We have fallen short of God’s glory. We need to retrace our steps, for the Lord desires genuine devotion to Him. If we are willing, He is willing. When we devote ourselves to Him, He will help us to remedy the situation we are in today. With Him we can restore our lost glory and relationship with the Spirit. Beloved, are you part of the problems, or solutions? You can never be neutral, either you are here, or there. God wants you to be on the good side of history. (Hebrews 12 : 14). If you stand with Him, He will stand with you; but if you choose to ignore Him, He will reject you now and eternity. Friend, let us join hands to bring relief to others, and not to make their lives more miserable. Be wise!

Verse Of The Day: And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6 : 5

LISTEN : Love is very key to a warm relationship with God. Without love, no one can be bold to say that he or she is a true child of God. Our love for God motivates us to have faith in Him. We believe He cannot fail because we love Him. Besides, our love for Him will generate dedication, commitment, and respect for Him. To be a genuine child of God, love for Him is not a choice but a – must – do. Our Bible text says, ” And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deuteronomy 6 : 5). God gave the Israelites and us by extension, the conditions for a relationship with Him. He said we should love and obey Him ; serve and worship Him, and live righteously in the world. Beloved, what is taking your attention. Where does your heart lies? Is your heart with God, or the devil and the world? Why not dedicate your life to God today? Think about it and surrender to God, and love Him with all your heart no matter what. Be wise!

1. Pray and thank God for His unconditional love towards you.
2. Ask God to show you mercy for errors of the day.
3. Pray for grace to love God with all your heart.
4 Pray to dislodge every altar responsible for your problems and predicaments.
5 Pray for divine revelations as you sleep tonight.

PRAYER : Dear Lord, I thank you for today, help me to love you with all my heart, and to serve and worship you as long as I live. Besides, keep me from evil and grant me sweet sleep tonight, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
