Author : Bishop Julius Okarike
Verse Of The Day : I will praise you, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all your marvellous works. Psalms 9 : 1
LISTEN : Praise is good to God, for He deserves our praise. (Psalms 22 : 3). We sleep and wake up by His grace. We travel to and fro, still by His grace. God gives us what our money cannot buy for us. The wealthy may argue that money can buy them everything; but let me ask, If money buys you a motorbike, a car, or a jet, can money equally protect you from accident and death? If money builds you a good house, can money buy you a peaceful sleep and rest of mind? The list goes on and on. No doubt, there are lots of things money can do for us, yet, we are nothing without God. We owe everything to Him. He is the one who gives us power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8 : 18). In Him we live, move and have our existence. (Acts 17 : 28). Therefore, He should be greatly praised. Beloved, do you know God deserves your praise? Praise brings down the glory of God. When your mouth is full of heartfelt praise to God, your hands will be wet with His blessings. Praise is the channel that can easily connects you to God’s frequency. So learn to praise God in all situations. God releases His blessings when men praise Him; because praising God is telling Him you acknowledged His goodness to you and humanity at large. When we genuinely praise God and repeat the process, we will trigger His presence in our lives. If men can praise, God can bless. Beloved, determine to praise God henceforth, and declare His marvellous works to others. Be wise!

TOPIC : CONFESS YOUR SIN TO GOD
Tuesday, May 15, 2018
Verse Of The Day : I acknowledged my sin to you. I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Psalms 32 : 5
LISTEN : A genuine confession of sin brings emotional relief and spiritual freedom. It sets the conscience free from guilt and emotional torture. When we acknowledged and genuinely confessed our sins, we have set the stage for forgiveness. God can only forgive us when we have truly confessed and repented of our sins. When David was struggling with the guilt of his sin, he did not hesitate to acknowledge the wrong he had done, and to seek the Lord’s forgiveness. Our Bible verse says, “I acknowledged my sin to you. I did not hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.” (Psalms 32 : 5). Beloved, are you troubled for the wrong you have done? Are you now in bondage to your conscience? Have you acknowledged your sin? If yes, then confess it to God and repent of it, surely, He will have mercy on you. The Bible says,” If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1 : 9). Beloved, confess your sin to God today, and He will abundantly pardon.
