Verse Of The Day : Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this. Ecclesiastics 7 : 10
LISTEN : The children of Israel landed themselves in big trouble the day they lusted after the so- called good things of Egypt and despised what God gave to them. They were not satisfied with what God had offered to them – “the Manna.” They believed they had better lives in Egypt than what God had provided for them in the wilderness. They said, “We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic; but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna to look at.” (Numbers 11 : 5 , 6). What a bad way to reciprocate God’s goodness and mercy! This is what many people do today. Memories of good old days have drown their gratitude for the present. They do not see any reason to thank God anymore; because their yesterday was better than today. Beloved, things may not be the way you wished for, yet, it is worth thanking God for. Do not forget that God is watching you. So, accept today the way it is and work and pray for a better tomorrow. Stop murmuring, complaining or counting your losses, for it will further frustrate you ; instead, praise God for the gift of life and trust Him for a better life. Our Bible verse says, ” Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this.” (Ecclesiastics 7 : 10). Beloved, do not ruin your life by dwelling on the memories of good old days; instead, revive it (life) by wisely investing in your today for a better tomorrow. Be wise!

TOPIC : THE END OF ALL THINGS IS NEAR
Tuesday, May 29, 2018
Bible Verse : But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer. 1 Peter 4 : 7
LISTEN : Friend, do you think everything will go on in the world forever? Have you forgotten Noah and his generation? How Noah and his family were saved and others destroyed? In His message to His audience Jesus Christ said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.” (Luke 21 : 33). This means that, everything He said while He walked the earth will certainly come to pass ; and that includes His second coming to rapture His people and Judge the world for their sins. When He ended His earthly ministry, as He was being taken up to heaven while His disciples watched; suddenly, angels of the LORD stood by them in white clothing, and said, “You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky.” (Acts 1 : 10 , 11). Beloved, are you prepared for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ? Are you prepared for the judgment of the LORD? Please do not allow the world to deceive you, instead, be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer; and always think and invest in your eternal future. Remember, the end of all things is near. Be wise!
PRAYER POINTS :
1. Pray and bless God for His love and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Pray God to make you conscious of eternity and give you a heart to love, obey and seek Him.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and your family.
Dear Lord, I thank you for your words this evening. I pray for wisdom to seek you daily, knowing that the end of all things is near, amen.
God bless you. See you tomorrow.
