Verse Of The Day : Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice. Psalms 55 : 17

LISTEN : Time spent in heartfelt prayer is a time well spent. It is a time spent with the Master, the God of the universe; the solution provider. When prayer is genuinely made to God, solutions (answers) can be expected. God never fails to deliver on His promises. He does exactly what He says. (Numbers 23 : 19). Circumstances may influence us to think that God has turned His back on us ; but if we cannot stop praying to God we will surely push our ways through. (Luke 18 : 1 – 8). Many people wonder if God truly hear prayers. They complain about God not given attention to their prayers, as a result, they stopped praying. Beloved, God hears prayers. He will hear if you can pray. (Jeremiah 33 : 3). When prayer becomes a delight, God will certainly hear you. You cannot be unseriouse with prayer and expect extraordinary results. You must persist in prayer. Those who prevail with God are those who through faith persist in prayer. David said, ” Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.” (Psalms 55 : 17). In this bible passage, David was saying, “I will not give up praying no matter what. I will pray to God until I receive. I am not bothered about God’s delay in answering me, for I know He will surely answer me.” Beloved, are you tired of praying? Have you decided to quit? What a wrong decision to make! My dear, do not stop praying, instead keep pushing; for the answer you seek might be hidden in your next push. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Persist in prayer and never quit praying because of delay in answer to your prayer.
2. Do not be weak in prayer, instead, pray fervently and persistently.
3. When you pray, pray in faith believing that God will answer you no matter the delay.
4 Always carry your problems to God and trust Him as your solutions provider.

Daily Prayer : Almighty God, you are my God and solutions provider. Therefore, hear me when I cry to you in my distress, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Daily Task : Beloved, no matter what, do not stop praying. Instead, keep pushing, for the answer you seek might be hidden in your next push.

Bible Verse : And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, care you not that we perish? Mark 4 : 38

LISTEN: Are you in pain and heartbroken? Are you tempted to believe that God does not care about what you are going through? Are you wondering if God does feel your pain, sorrow and afflictions? Do you think He has abandoned you to perish in your troubles? Beloved, God knows about your troubles and cares about you. (Jeremiah 29 : 11). That He is silent does not mean He has forsaken you. His delay does not mean He has denied your requests. Beloved, do not be afraid. When you walk with Jesus Christ, you are not permitted to live in fear. Fear will blind your eyes to the presence of God even when He is closer to you. It will cause you to think as though, God does not care about your pain and troubles. That was the same way Jesus Christ’s disciples reacted when they were attacked by a heavy storm in the sea. (see Mark 4 : 37 – 40). Though, they were in the same boat with Jesus when the storm was raging, yet, their lack of faith could not permit them to know that they were safe because Jesus Christ was in their midst; instead, they accused Jesus of negligence. They said, “Master, do you not care that we perish?” (v. 38) They spoke to him as if he was not bothered about their troubles. However, he arose and rebuked the storm and it was arrested. This is how most of us think when faced with troubles. We believe that God does not care about us. Beloved, do not panic, rather keep calm, God truly cares about you. He will deliver you, rebuke your storm, and calm your troubled heart. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for His mercies, direction and protection.
2. Confess your sin to God and ask for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God for faith to believe that He cares about you.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and your family.

May God arrest what is bothering you. May the Lord grant relief to you and cause your worry to cease, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
