Verse Of The Day : For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope. Jeremiah 29:11

LISTEN : God’s plans for His people are great and reliable. They are precious and ought not to be missed or forfeited by His people. His plans are bigger than our natural eyes could see. His plan is to give us a better future both in this life and eternity. Sadly, troubles and circumstances of this life will not permit us to believe what God says concerning us. Beloved, God is not man, His ways are not our ways, neither his thoughts our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8,9). The Israelites were in captivity in Babylon and expected a quick return to Jerusalem. However, God told them through Prophet Jeremiah to be patient and live their normal lives in Babylon, and always trust His good plans for them. He (God) told them He was using their circumstances to work out something good for their lives (Jeremiah 29:4-7, 11). Beloved, be calm! God is working out something big for you. Only have faith in Him. He works in mysterious ways. He can use any situation to work out His good purpose for your life. Friend, you may have reasons to doubt God’s plans for your life. But I assure you, when you trust God’s judgment and timing, He will bless your future with His goodness. Friend, God’s plans for you will not fail if your faith in Him will not die. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Be angry and sin not; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger. Do not give the devil an opportunity. Ephesians 4:26-27

LISTEN: Anger is a major problem in the world. People often suffer pain and harm because of the inability to overcome spirit of anger. What is anger? It is to make (someone) angry. It is a feeling of being upset or annoyed because of something wrong or bad. This feeling makes someone want to hurt other people, shout at them, or do other hurtful actions to them. Beloved, offenses will surely come, but you have a choice to react wisely. When you allow anger to take root in your heart it will lead to resentment and taking decisions against the will of God. When you fail to overcome spirit of anger, it will lead you into more troubles. (Eccles 7:9). Therefore, we should follow what God has done for us through Christ Jesus. God gives us forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ. Hence, we are to extend same to others when they hurt us. God did not say we should not be angry at all, but that we should not allow anger to drag us to sin. The Bible says, ”Do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger.” (v.26b). The meaning of which is, “learn to let go of Offenses as quickly as possible ; and embrace peace when you are hurt by someone, so that the devil will not use the opportunity to lead you into a bigger problem.” (v.27). Henceforth, do not carry around grudges and resentment, instead, commit all to God. Be wise!
