Verse Of The Day : My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to be like him in his death. Philippians 3:10 NET
LISTEN : Beloved, what is your greatest desire in life? What is your priority? What is it you can trade for all others? No doubt, different people have different priorities in life. To some, their priorities are to have good cars, mansions, children, good health, good academic qualifications, wealth and to live long and enjoy their own labour. To others, their priorities are to be famous, have political power, be great in all areas of life; etc. Beloved, all the things mentioned above are good if God is the one at the top of the list. God desires that you prosper as much as He desires to be the reason for your prosperity. He wants you to seek Him and value Him above all else. He wants all your desires to come second to Him. (Matthew 6:33).
This is where a lot of people get it wrong. They abandon God to chase after “the good things of life.” Beloved, you have gained nothing if you trade God for wealth and the good things of life; and you have lost nothing if you “lose all” to gain God. (Matthew 16:25). My dear, God created us for a purpose, and our aim should be to know, obey and serve Him. Apostle Paul said, “My aim is to know him, to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings, and to be like him in his death.” (Philippians 3:10). Beloved, strive to have a relationship with Jesus Christ; take part in spreading the gospel no matter the persecution, and prepare for the resurrection of the saints. Desire God now more than ever. Say YES to Jesus Christ and NO to Satan. Be wise!

TOPIC: GOD IS OUR REFUGE
Bible Verse : The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe. Proverbs 18:10
LISTEN : God is our dependable refuge. He is our hiding place in times of troubles. No place is as safe as the secret place of the Most High. No matter how fortified any place might be, it is still vulnerable. God alone is a reliable refuge. Nothing can destroy what is hidden in Him. Beloved, have you hidden yourself in God? To hide yourself in God you must be in Christ Jesus. You must first surrender the control of your life to Him. The Bible says, “for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3). When you give up the control of your life God takes over and order your steps in the right direction. Beloved, trust the Lord. The Bible says, ”The name of the Lord is a strong tower.” This means that the name of God is as great as God, because the name of God is God himself; whatever God is, He expresses it by His name. God is a strong tower, a refuge, and place of complete safety to all who trust in Him. (2Samuel 22:3). He is a strong fortress to His persecuted and afflicted followers. Therefore, whatever situation we find ourselves, we should run to Him in faith and be saved. Be wise!
PRAYER POINTS :
1. Thank the Lord for a wonderful day and the gift of life.
2. Ask Him for forgiveness, Mercy and restoration.
3. Pray God to preserve you.
4. Pray for grace to focus on doing the will of God no matter what.

Everlasting Father, I thank you for your words to me tonight. Help me to live right and obtain the reward for a righteous living, amen.
God bless you. See you tomorrow.
