Verse Of The Day : You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 ISV

LISTEN : You cannot find God until you ‘search’ for Him with the whole of your heart. Searching for God does not mean He is lost, but that you have lost your way back to Him through sin. However, the day you begin to consciously search for Him, surely you will find Him. To find God is to discover who He really is, and to turn to Him in repentance and worship Him as the true God. Beloved, to discover God you must be serious with Him. You must search for Him as one searching for a priceless object. You must desperately desire to know Him. Until then you cannot find Him. (2 Chronicles 31:21 ; Psalms 119:2). My dear, you will prosper in your quest to know God when you seek Him with all your heart. Obviously, we cannot discover God if we choose to be just verbal doers of His words; that is, those whose faith in God ends in their lips. It is difficult to find God when we have not felt His absence in our lives. Until we realise that we are vulnerable and nothing without Him, it will be difficult to seek Him with all our hearts. Absence of God in a person’s life will expose such person to destruction and satanic manipulations. Truly, He who abandons God in favour of other gods will have God to contend with. But those who return to Him in repentance will find Him. In the same way, you can find God when you search for Him with all your heart. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?

Bible Verse : Deliver me from my distress; rescue me from my suffering! Psalms 25:17 NET

LISTEN : Right from the fall of man trouble and suffering have been part of human existence. People experience trouble and suffering in many ways (sickness, hardship, oppression, torment, persecution, injury, etc.) Truly, no one is immune to trouble and suffering; everyone at one point or the other must have a taste of it. When trouble comes it appears like we are not going to come out of it alive, as a result, we panic and worry instead of praying to God for divine intervention. People are too quick to forget God and go in search of alternative “solution” when suffering seems to increase in their lives. Beloved, learn to call to God in your troubles. If your troubles and suffering increase, do not worry, instead pray to God. God’s ear is itching to hear your prayers. Cry to Him in your suffering like David cried saying, ”Deliver me from my distress; rescue me from my suffering” (Psalms 25:17). David cried out to God because the situation was more than he could handle; and because he cried to God God delivered him. The Bible says ”Surely he rescue me from all trouble, and I triumph over my enemies.(Psalms 54:7). Beloved, are you faced with danger or distress? Do not panic, rather pray to God until He hears you. If you can pray God can answer. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for His love and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Pray God to grant deliverance to you in times of troubles.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you tonight.

May God deliver you from your distress and crown you with victory. It is well with you, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
