Verse Of The Day: Even, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4

LISTEN: God’s presence is the cure for fear. Fear cannot survive where God’s presence prevails; for in the presence of God there is freedom, and that includes freedom from spirit of fear. (2 Corinthians 3:17). Fear is strong where God’s word is neglected. But faith is produced when God’s word is heard and properly utilised. God’s word opens our eyes to His promises and grows our faith to believe God and overcome in battles of life. Fear is overcome when faith is anchored in God. Besides, when we live in line with God’s will (righteously, having a right standing with God), God will impact us with uncommon bravery and strength. Living in line with the will of God triggers boldness, but sin deflates confidence. (Proverbs 28:1b). The righteous are not afraid of any evil because they know that fear is Satan’s instrument of destruction. Satan uses fear to empty people of their strength and opportunity to excel.

Beloved, fear not. Learn to fight your fears through faith in God. Be strong and courageous for God is greater than what appears to be greater than you. (1 John 4:4). Have faith in God. David said, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4). In his troubles he trusted God for intervention, and therefore said, “In the time of my fear, I will have faith in you.”(Psalms 56:3). Beloved, determine to overcome your fears and walk in faith. Always remember that you are not alone. God is with you. Be wise!

Bible Verse : A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels. Proverbs 1:5

LISTEN : The wise never stop learning. They continuously learn to increase in knowledge. Nobody is too learned and wise to stop learning. Learning is a lifetime project. The more you learn, the more you know and become wiser and increase in knowledge. You will become refined and know how to think better and act better when you acquire knowledge, whether theoretical or practical knowledge. Sadly, a lot of people do not want to learn new things, because they believe they know everything; as a result, have nothing more to learn from others. (Proverbs 26:12). Friend, never stop learning; instead, labour painstakingly for more knowledge, especially knowledge about God. Keep searching for knowledge and open your ears and heart to it. You will become better when you acquire and apply true knowledge. As you search for knowledge, strive to know the word of God. The word of God is the source of true wisdom. God’s word brings about increase in knowledge. Learning the word of God (Scriptures) is the best learning. It is the most profitable and profound knowledge in the earth. Beloved, are you a wise man? Be a good listener and you will increase in learning. (James 1:19).

1. Thank the Lord for today and the gift of life.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and restoration.
3. Pray for knowledge, wisdom and grace to learn and increase in learning.
4. Ask for a good night sleep, and destruction of Satan’s plans over your life.

Dear Lord, I thank you for your words today. Help me to hear and increase in knowledge and wisdom all the days of my life, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
