Verse Of The Day : Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker. 2 Samuel 3:1

LISTEN : The “oil” of God separates a man from another. God’s anointing upon a man causes him to achieve enviable results for God with little or no struggles. “The anointing is God’s hands under a man which lifts him to unimaginable heights in life.” When God anoints a man, it shows that he has been chosen to do certain things for God. God’s anointing triggers divine protection, provision, favour, blessings, victory and other countless uncommon results. To carry God’s anointing is to carry His grace. To walk in the anointing is to walk in divine influence and authority. However, until you genuinely surrender to God you cannot experience the anointing. The Bible says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). God’s power is released when you identify with Him (1John 2:20). In our Bible verse, David waxed stronger and stronger because of the anointing, and Saul waxed weaker and weaker because he failed to serve God’s purpose and therefore lost the anointing. Where God’s purpose is not served, the anointing will be lost. Beloved, the anointing will begin to speak in your life the moment you genuinely surrender to God. Truly, when you surrender to God, situations will surrender to you. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?

Bible Verse : Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes. Mathew 25:13

LISTEN: Jesus’s second coming to the world will shock the inhabitants of the earth. His coming will be a mixture of joy and sorrow. Joy to God’s children, and sorrow to the unfaithful and wicked (Daniel 12:1,2). His second coming will break the hearts of many, but put smiles in the faces of those who faithfully served God. Beloved, Jesus Christ will certainly return to judge the wicked world (Acts 17:30,31). He will judge the world in righteousness. Those who receive Him will not be condemned, but those who reject Him are condemned already. Beloved, are you prepared for His return? Do you know that He will come to the world unannounced? Our verse of the day says, “Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of man comes.” (Mathew 25:13). Beloved, our duty is to watch and wait for His return. We should guard against temptation by watching our actions, activities, conducts, or following evil trends, etc. We should be careful not to follow the world’s way of corruption and sin. We should guard against anything that will keep us from eternal life. My dear, be watchful; because he who misses eternal life will be doomed forever. Be wise!

1. Bless God for today no matter what.
2. Ask God for forgiveness, and grace to follow His will.
3. Pray for grace to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to love God.
5. Pray against spiritual wickedness, and ask God to keep you safe.

Today I prophesy to you, may you not miss your way. May the Lord show you the path of life and order your steps in the right direction, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
