Bible Verse : Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is near. Philippians 4:5

LISTEN : Jesus Christ is coming soon. Therefore, we should live gently and wisely. In our verse of the day, we are urged to be gentle. Gentleness is not a sign of timidity or weakness; or a demonstration of folly, but a proof of godliness and wisdom. You distinguished yourself when you live gently and wisely toward others. God wants you to be gentle. He wants us to lead a gentle life. That is, He wants us to have or show a kind and quiet nature. He does not want us to be unnecessarily harsh or violent toward others. Gentleness is one of the “fruit” of the Holy Spirit, at such, every child of God should possess it. The Bible says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…” (Galatians 5:22,23). Beloved, are you gentle to others? Gentle people do not terrorise or traumatise others. They do not kidnap, maim, torture or kill others. They are peaceful and tolerant. They value human lives and respect God. They are conscious of their actions and the corresponding consequences. Friend, strive to be gentle and God-fearing, because it pays to obey God. Be wise!

Bible Verse : The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Psalms 145:9

LISTEN : God’s goodness to all is obvious and undeniable. Everything good we enjoy can be traceable to the goodness of God. The air we breath, the water we drink or use for other purposes, the food we eat, etc., are the goodness of God. Beloved, God is truly good to all His creation. He is kind and compassionate toward us; He is disposed and ready to do us good at all times. He is the life of all. Without Him you have no life (Acts 17:25). There is not one of us whom He is not ready and willing to bless; or whose welfare He is not ready to promote. His goodness is to all (both the good and the bad). The Bible says, “And his tender mercies are over all his works” (Psalms 145:9). That is, in all that He has made, there is evidence that He is a kind and benevolent God. He has a heart to love and to bless what He has made (see Matt 5:45). He is gracious. He is not disposed to cast off the weak, the erring, and the suffering. He is willing to pardon, receive and restore the repentant, and to wipe away the tears of the brokenhearted. God’s goodness and mercy are ultimately demonstrated in Jesus Christ who tasted death for every man. His grace for every soul is free. Beloved, no matter what happens, think of what God has done for you, and you will agree and declare that God is good to all. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for His love and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God to give you the heart to acknowledge and appreciate His goodness.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and the people of God.

It is well with you. May God open your eyes to His goodness, and make you not to forget His blessings to you, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
