Verse Of The Day : And Gideon came to Jordan, and passed over, he, and the three hundred men that were with him, faint, yet pursuing them. Judges 8:4

LISTEN : Friend, there is no guarantee that you will not faint when pursuing a God-given purpose. No matter how strong and energetic you are, you will faint or feel frustrated and helpless at some point, as you travel the road to your God-given purposes. As life gets tougher, people tend to faint and get discouraged. One of the reasons why many fail in their quest for success is because they surrender to “exhaustion.” They got tired and felt they cannot go on anymore. Beloved, you should learn to be strong, courageous and determined when pursuing your God-given purposes (Joshua 1:6,7,9). You should get moving even when you lack the strength to proceed further. Learn to “think outside the box” and realise that you cannot make it all alone. You need help. You need God. When your strength is gone and you cannot proceed any further, you need God. When your hope is disappointed, you need God. When fear and enemies threaten your life, you need God. With God, your strength, hope and courage will return. In our Bible verse, Gideon and his three hundred men prevailed over the one hundred and thirty five thousand Midianites, because they first overcame the temptation to surrender to “tiredness” (Pro 24:10). The Bible recorded thus: “they were tired, yet pursuing them” (Judges 8:4). Beloved, do you have such courage and determination? Please do not give up on your dreams and vision. Keep pushing, certainly you will break through. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Do not say, “I will pay back evil!” Wait for the LORD, so that he may vindicate you. Proverbs 20 : 22 NET

LISTEN: What a world! Everyone wants to take revenge against his or her offender(s). No one wants to forgive. Everyone wants to take his or her own “pound of flesh.” What a world! No peace, no forgiveness, no love, but violence, killing, destruction and all manner of evil. We want to revenge every evil no matter what. Beloved, why seek private revenge instead of seeking God’s vindication? The bible says, ”Do not say, “I will pay back evil!” That is , do not do an injury to one that has done one to you. The Bible commands that private revenge is not to be taken, but should be left to God, to whom vengeance belongs. You should learn to wait on the Lord, and He shall save you; commit yourself and cause to God; leave it with Him to avenge your wrongs, and wait His own time to do you justice. He will at the proper season, and in His own way, save you from your enemies, and make a righteous retribution to them (your enemies). The word of God declares, ”Be sure of this: the wicked will not go unpunished, but the descendants of the righteous will go free” (Proverbs 11:21). Beloved, do not waste your time seeking revenge, instead, seek the will and help of God. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for provision and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God to heal your broken heart and remove the thoughts of vengeance.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you, and the body of Christ around the world.
5. Pray for peace of mind, good sleep and faith to be saved.

May the Lord heal your wounded and bleeding heart, may He quench the desire for revenge in your heart, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
