Verse Of The Day : Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. …I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me. Matthew 25:34,40

LISTEN : My dear, keep serving, God is aware of it. No one who serves God in sincerity will lose his or her reward. God is not unrighteous, He will reward every genuine service done in His name. The Bible says, “For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.” (Hebrews 6:10). Truly, every genuine service done in the name of the LORD will be rewarded. Beloved, you will not regret doing a kind, unselfish, or sacrificial deed. In His message to the people, Jesus Christ talks about how His Father (God) is going to reward those who live unselfish and sacrificial life for others and the sake of the kingdom of God. Jesus tells His audience that God acknowledges even the smallest act of kindness done in His name to anyone, especially believers in Christ Jesus ; and will unfailingly reward such services. (Galatians 6:7). Therefore, as long as we live, we should live to please God. God’s agenda should come first no matter what. When we put God first, God will put us first. (Matthew 6:33). When we sacrifice to please God, God will sacrifice to please us. Beloved, serve God and be kind and generous to others in His name. Remember, when you do a kind, unselfish and sacrificial deed you will never miss heaven’s recognition. (Acts 10:1–5,30–32). So keep serving, God is aware of everything. He will reward you in due time. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : DOES GOD ABANDON HIS PEOPLE?

Sunday, July 8, 2018

Bible Verse : Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Psalms 37:7

LISTEN: Does God abandon His people? Of course not! Unfortunately, people tend to despair anytime they perceive or feel abandoned. They fail to acknowledge the fact that God cannot forsake anyone who believes in Him. (Hebrew 13:5). Surely, God cannot abandon His elect, but rather bless and preserve them. No matter how long it takes, God will certainly bless the righteous (see Isaiah 3:10). Beloved, do not worry about your predicaments and “prosperity” of the wicked, instead, trust and obey God and be faithful to Him; certainly you will not regret it. Never be in a hurry for prosperity, rather, be diligent and trust the LORD. Our Bible verse says, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him…” Beloved, leaning on God is the best thing you can do at a time when it seems nothing is working for you. People may give up on you, or practically reject you, yet, you must not give up on God. Besides, do not envy the wicked who “prospers” in what he does; for it is definitely not going to last forever. Do not forget that the wealth of the wicked is prepared for “the wind” (Pro.13:11). Wait for the blessings of the LORD, though it may delay, but it will surely come, and it comes with no sorrow. (Proverbs 10:22). My dear, no matter what, do not rush to where God does not lead you to or approve of, because you will surely rush out in frustration, pain and disgrace. Be wise!

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Glorify God for today no matter what.
2. Ask God for forgiveness, and grace to be committed to Him.
3. Pray God to help you wait patiently for Him in all situations.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to live for God.
5. Pray against all sorts of wickedness tonight, and ask God to keep you safe.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Today I prophesy to you, may God keep you from falling. May the Lord show you the path of righteousness and order your steps in the right direction, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
