Verse Of The Day : Sorrow is better than laughter; for by the sadness of the face the heart is made good. Ecclesiastics 7:3

LISTEN : Beloved, what do you think are the reasons why children are often scolded, reprimanded and punished by their well-meaning parents when they go wrong? The reasons could be numerous but can be summarised in few words – “training them to be better and useful both to themselves, their families and the society at large.” Of course you know that no child will enjoy to be scolded or punished for whatever reasons. Instead, they enjoy to be allowed to have their own way in everything. But no good parents will allow that, because such will destroy them in the long run. They will rather correct and punish them where necessary, because the rod of correction will bring out the best in them. (Proverbs 22:15). In the same way, when we stray away from God, trouble makes us to have a sober reflection and therefore take the right part. (). Our verse of the day says, ” Sorrow is better than laughter; for by the sadness of the face the heart is made good.” (Ecclesiastics 7:3). No one enjoys sorrow, yet, it is the key to a better life. No expectant mother laughs when she is in labour pain. It is always a time of trouble (sorrow) for her. But her joy lies behind the pain. Yes, it takes pain to give birth to gain. Bitter things are what interpret the real meaning of life. Beloved, whatever trouble you face, stand up to it. Never ask why you should face it, instead find how to face it and you will be glad at the end of it all. It might be bitter though, but it will be better at the end if you quit not. Be wise!

Bible Verse : And suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. Matthew 8: 24

LISTEN : Trouble often pushes people to do things against their own will. It pressures people into going against God’s will. However, we can still experience peace when we face trouble if we choose to walk in faith. Beloved, do you know you can find peace even in times of troubles? Do you also know when the storm of life is raging, God can give you peace and shield you from harm? You may have been troubled by how your day ended today without achieving your target ; but not to worry, just ease your stress and prepare for the next day. Ask the Lord to give you the kind of peace and sleep that will nourish and calm your troubled heart. When Jesus Christ was travelling with His disciples on water, the storm was up against them, but He was not bothered because He is above all. He rebuked and calmed the storm and saved His disciples. Beloved, free your mind from fear and troubles of the day, and you will experience a good night sleep through the supernatural hands of God. Be wise!

1. Pray and thank God for everything.
2. Ask the Lord to forgive and direct your steps.
3. Pray for God’s peace in your heart no matter what.
4. Ask the Lord to arrest the storm in your life and give you rest.
5. Command God’s judgement against any demonic altar that is fighting against you.

Today I prophesy to you, may God keep you from every evil that is designed against you. I command every arrow directed to you to be diverted to hell, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
