Verse Of The Day : And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Luke 16:31

LISTEN: In His message to His audience, concerning the rich man and Lazarus the miserable poor begger. Jesus described the luxury enjoyed by the rich man when he was alive, and the torment Lazarus went through, which the rich saw but never helped. He further narrated that, both of them eventually died (the rich man and Lazarus), Lazarus was carried to the bosom of Abraham (a place of comfort, bliss, rest, paradise); but the rich man was buried and thereafter found himself in hell. Despite the befitting burial given to him, he was in torment in hell and languishing in misery. (Luke 16:19-31). Having found out that his own case had no remedy, he demanded that someone be sent from the dead to warn his five brothers lest they come to join him in hell. But his request was rejected. The Bible says, “If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” (Luke 16:31). The gospel of Christ is being preached everyday, yet, the hearts of many are hardened. They are never convinced about the gospel of the kingdom of God. They chose to dwell in unbelief to their own hurt. Beloved, are you in doubt of God’s word? Do you want someone from the dead to convince you about the reality of hell? Please do not accept to be led astray, rather open your heart to God. Be wise!

Bible Verse : And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mark 1:35

LISTEN : Do you spend time with God? Time with God can never be lost or wasted. Spending time with God should be the yearning of everyone of us. Sadly, many spend their lives daily without having quality time with God. They do not have time to commune with Him in prayer, personal bible study, meditation, etc. They have no regard to the will of God. They have little or no time for Him. They seem to have forgotten that we are humans? And that we are created by God to serve His purposes? Beloved, do you know that failing to spend time with God will amount to failing to fulfill your God-given purpose? No matter how busy you are, always have time for God. Jesus Christ, while He walked the earth, worked round the clock (Acts 10:38), yet, had quality time with God (His Father) in prayer. (Mark 1:35). Beloved, never neglect to have time with God no matter what. Time with God will shape your future, correct your behaviour, direct your steps, give you access to God, give your life a meaning and save your soul from eternal destruction. Be wise!

1. Thank God for your day and his blessings in your life.
2. Ask Him for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God to enable you to spend quality time with Him no matter what.
4. Pray and cancel every evil judgment passed on you by wicked people.
5. Thank God for answering your prayer.

Today, I prophesy to you, may God enable you to spend quality time with Him henceforth, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow
