Verse Of The Day : As if with choice meat you satisfy my soul. My mouth joyfully praises you, whenever I remember you on my bed, and think about you during the nighttime hours. Psalms 63:5,6 NET

LISTEN : Countless thoughts run through our minds daily, hence, the need to guard our hearts. (Psalms 4:23). Unfortunately, most of these thoughts are not thoughts that could glorify God. Most people spend their time thinking about how to hatch their evil plots. They think about how to murder the innocent for money, rape, rob, maim, blackmail and destroy their victims without a cause. They rejoice over evil and celebrate wickedness. But the godly is different. He rejoices as he meditates in the name of the LORD. His heart is lifted anytime he remembers God whether day or night. Beloved, do you have God in your thoughts? How do you feel when you think about God? Does the thought about God gives you joy or sadness? Does it leaves you empty or satisfied? Strong or weak? Bored or excited? My dear, your mind will respond to your relationship with God. If your relationship with God is bad, you will feel unfulfilled, empty, afraid and troubled around God. But when you have a cordial relationship with Him, a mere thought of Him will excites you. His presence will trigger joy, courage, faith satisfaction and fulfilment in you. In our Bible verse of the day, David expresses his joy in God whenever he remembers Him. He feels satisfied and fulfilled as he thinks about God night and day. Beloved, learn to think and be excited about God, and you will live a successful and fulfilled life. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Occupy your mind with thoughts that can glorify and honour God.
2. Do not spend your time thinking about how to harm others, instead, work for their good.
3. Never rejoice or celebrate wickedness. Instead, support and celebrate goodness.

Bible Verse : And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Ezekiel 22:30

LISTEN: Every land needs people who have passion for Intercession. When God is angry with a people, He expects someone to sense the danger and move to stop it. Sadly, our land is consumed with evil because no one seems to care about what is happening. No one is prepared to intercede for the erring majority in the world. In the days of Prophet Ezekiel, God warned the Israelites of imminent danger, just the same way He is warning us today. Like them, we do not heed His warnings, nor do we often act as required. In our bible verse, God trusts prophet Ezekiel to deliver a warning message to Judah and Jerusalem. Demanding that someone should sense the danger and “stand in the gap” for the land to avert His (God’s) wrath. In the same way, who is ready to “stand in the gap” to stop God’s wrath today? Could I be that “one man” God is looking for? Or you? My dear, time is running out. Let us look around and wake up to the reality that our families, churches, communities, nation, and the world are in great need of people to rise and pray to avert the wrath of God! Beloved, rise and let us pray to save our people. Be wise!

1. Pray and bless God for provision and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God to strengthen you for prayer and Intercession.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you, and the body of Christ around the world.
5. Pray for peace of mind, good sleep and faith to be saved.

May the Lord equip you for prayer. May the grace to stand in the gap for others be released to you, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
