Verse Of The Day : Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Romans 12:11 KJV

LISTEN : Have someone called you an idle person? Or have you heard someone called another an idle person? By dictionary definition, “if someone calls you idle, it either means they think you do not have enough to do or that you are just plain lazy.” Idle can also mean having no value or purpose. To be idle is to be lazy. Laziness is an anti-christian practice. It is a lifestyle against God and the principles of hard work and excellence. Idleness (laziness) is the highway to emptiness. The shortest way to misery, poverty and shame is to “fall in love” with laziness. (Proverbs 13:4). As children of God, we are to serve God faithfully and enthusiastically, and equally work hard on any task, job, work, etc., that we are engaged with. Beloved, do not be lazy. God does not bless laziness, but hard work. So, use your time, talents and resources well. The Bible says, “Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, because there is neither work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave, the place where you will eventually go.” (Ecclesiastics 9:10 NET). Friend, hope you know you do not have all the time in the world? Someday you will be gone. So, be diligent and work hard today. Think and act wisely. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Psalms 37:7

LISTEN: A lot of people often feel bad when they are asked to wait for what they desire so much. They are heartbroken any time they perceive or feel abandoned by God or others. Sadly, they fail to acknowledge the fact that God cannot forsake His people. (Hebrew 13:5). God is merciful and kind to His people. No matter what happens, it shall be well with those who trust and wait for God. (Isaiah 3:10). Beloved, do not worry about the “prosperity” of the wicked, instead, strive to live in line with the will of God; certainly you will not regret it. Never be in a hurry for prosperity, rather, be diligent and trust the LORD. Always lean on God even when it seems nothing is working for you. People may give up on you or reject you, yet, do not give up on God. Besides, do not envy the wicked who “prospers” in what he does, for he will not stand when God visits. Wait for the blessings of the LORD, though it may delay, but it will come, and it will come with no sorrow. (Proverbs 10:22). My dear, no matter what, do not rush to where God does not lead you to, because you will surely rush out in frustration, misery and disgrace. Be wise!

1. Glorify God for today no matter what.
2. Ask God for forgiveness, and grace to be committed to Him.
3. Pray God to help you wait patiently for Him in all situations.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to live for God.
5. Pray against all sorts of wickedness tonight, and ask God to keep you safe.

Today I prophesy to you, may God keep you from falling. May the Lord show you the path of righteousness and order your steps in the right direction, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
