Verse Of The Day : Whoso keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23 UKJV
LISTEN : Life and death are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21). Though, the tongue is a small organ of the body, but can pull down the greatest of men who choose to use it recklessly. Your mouth can be a great blessing to you and others if you use it wisely. It could equally be a curse, tragedy and source of great pain if you choose to use it wrongly and carelessly. Your life is not safe until your mouth is wisely and purposefully shut up. Similarly, as a christian, your faith will amount to a waste of time if your tongue is not bridled. (James 1:26). He who professes faith in Christ Jesus, but enjoys a “wide mouth and unbridled tongue” deceives himself, and his profession of religion is in vain. Beloved, guard your mouth and tongue if you must escape some troubles of this life. Know when to talk and when to be mute. Do not indulge hate speeches, gossiping, blackmailing, backbiting, or evil words from your mouth; instead, Let the words of God guide your behaviour and utterances. Beloved, be wise and careful with your words, and your life will not be a nightmare to you. Be wise!

TOPIC : WE ARE CONQUERORS
Thursday, August 9, 2018
Bible Verse : You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
LISTEN: We are conquerors because of Jesus Christ. He defeated Satan and the power of sin for us through His death on the cross. Hence, there is no reason to fear or doubt when God is with us. Fear cannot cripple anyone whose heart is occupied with faith. Though, there are battles to fight in life, but these battles have been conquered for us by Jesus Christ; and so we have access to victory by our faith in Him. The Bible says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.” (1John 5:4). Beloved, your faith is a function of your victory. When your faith fails, your confidence is sure to drop; and when your confidence drops, fear will dominate and paralyse you. Therefore, strive to grow your faith. Do not be afraid of what the future holds for you. Trust God for He is greater than your problems and enemies. Invite Him into your life and you will experience His power. If God is with you, victory is sure. (1 John 4:4). So, cheer up, because Jesus Christ has made you a conqueror. Be wise!

May your sleep be sweet. May God keep you from the reach of evil spirits. May your spiritual eyes be opened to mysteries that will gloriously change your life for ever, in Jesus’ name, amen.
God bless you. See you tomorrow.
