Verse Of The Day : I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do. John 17:4

LISTEN : My dear, hurry, for you do not have all the time in the world. (Hebrews 9:27). Like footballers (in the game of soccer), your success is tied to the time of the game. What you are unable to achieve within the time allowed by the game of life, will leave you to regret in eternity. When your life on the earth expires, your journey and purpose ends. So, do not pursue frivolities when you should be pursuing divine assignments. Do not waste your time trying to please your flesh or the world, rather, spend your time to discover yourself and fulfill your God-given purpose on the earth. Be a great achiever; and determine to pursue God’s purpose for your life and finish it before you leave the earth. God’s purpose for your life is to finish your assignments to His own glory. Jesus Christ is an ample example of a great achiever. He pursued and finished His Father’s purpose for His life. In our verse of the day He said, “I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do.” (John 17:4). Beloved, like Jesus Christ, are you glorifying God by accomplishing the work He has given you to do? Henceforth, determine to pursue and finish your God-given assignments on the earth. Be wise!

TOPIC: EAT TO GROW

Bible Verse : As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2

LISTEN : I know you may be asking in your heart, eat what? The answer is, eat the word of God. We eat food not just to satisfy our hunger, but to be strong, grow healthy and stay alive. Growth and life generally cannot be sustained without food. In the same way, our spiritual life cannot be sustained without spiritual food (the word of God). To grow spiritually we should thirst after God. When we hunger and thirst after God and His righteousness, nothing will satisfy our hungry soul but God. Only His words can truly satisfy our spiritual needs. Beloved, your hunger for God begins when you realise your emptiness without Him, and the need to desire His words. (John 15:5). We are to hunger for God’s word the way we hunger for physical food. God’s word is key to spiritual growth and maturity. We cannot attain God’s expectations if we do not desire His words. Our Bible verse says, ” As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:” (1 Peter 2:2). Beloved, to be spiritually strong and matured, you must desire God’s word the same way a baby would desire his or her mother’s breast milk. So, embrace, study and meditate on God’s word to grow in line with His will. Eat the word of God and you will not “starve and die.” Be wise!

PRAYER POINTS :
1. Thank God for protection and daily provisions.
2. Ask for His forgiveness, cleansing and restoration of your life.
3. Pray for grace to hunger and thirst after God and His words.
4. Pray against every mountain of your life, and cast them into the sea forever.
5. Ask God for a good night sleep, and command every demonic spirit out of your life.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION :
Today I prophesy to you, may God cause you to grow as you study and meditate in His word daily, in Jesus’ name, amen.

God bless you. See you tomorrow.
