Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30

LISTEN : Friend, you cannot give birth to what you are not pregnant with. What you carry in the inside is what you can possibly produce outwardly. To give birth to a big thing you must have to be pregnant with a big thing. Besides, it takes serious pain and labour to deliver a thing of great value. Truly, such comes with a huge price and sacrifice. Only those who are determined to be great can embrace the pain of life. (1 Chronicles 4:9,10). A lot of people run away from undertaking a journey of pain. They fail to understand that, “gain is hidden in the stomach of pain.” The Israelites wanted a land that flows with milk and honey, but were afraid to confront the obstacles to their dream. The beautiful land of Canaan they desired was occupied by giants as at the time, thereby making it difficult for them to penetrate the land. As a result, they gave up hope of entering the land. Conversely, Caleb acted in faith and challenged the people to believe they can overcome the giants. The Bible says, “Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, ‘Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.’ ” (Numbers 13:30). Beloved, have you been running away from challenges instead of embracing them? Do you know you can overcome if you are determined to face your obstacles? So, embrace your pain today to attract the gain. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. Ephesians 6:24 KJV

LISTEN: Our genuine love for Jesus Christ brings God’s favour to us. We will attract God’s favour when we love Him heartily. God’s grace keeps us going when everything threatens us. His grace or favour is the extra energy or strength given for every battle we (His people) might face. Friend, a genuine relationship with Christ will bring God’s grace (favour) to you. Favour will follow you when God becomes your priority. The Bible says, “But seek all of you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33). God owns the world, and when you honour and worship Him faithfully He can command anything or anyone to work in your favour. Though, God’s grace and goodness is for all, but He limits certain privileges to those who have accepted His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. (John 1:12). Only those who have accepted Jesus are given the power to become sons and daughters of God; and to have access to eternal life, divine protection, divine provisions, divine health, etc. Beloved, are you a genuine lover of God? Embrace Jesus Christ today and become a citizen of God’s kingdom. Be wise!

1. Thank God for your life and the lives of others.
2. Confess your sin and ask God for forgiveness.
3. Ask God for grace to love Him heartily.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to live by faith.
5. Thank God for answering your prayer.

Today I prophesy to you, may the grace of God locate you and yours, in Jesus’ name, amen.
