Verse Of The Day : For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Do not let your prophets who are in the midst of you, and your diviners, deceive you; neither listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely to you in my name: I have not sent them,’ says the LORD. Jeremiah 29:8-9
LISTEN : Who you believe or follow will determine the future you will create. Many people have listened to the wrong voices and have ruined their own lives. Not everyone who comes in the name of God is a messenger of God, because many people come with their own messages in the name of God. Beloved, no matter how good a message that is delivered in the name of the Lord is, if it is not from God, and the motive is not to please Him, it is therefore a deceit. Deception occurs when a message that is not given by God, is presumably delivered in His name. This is the trend in the church and the world today, as it was in the days of Prophet Jeremiah; when false prophets prophesied in the name of the LORD and so deceived many. Sadly, children of God love it so. (Jeremiah 5:31). They chose to listen to enticing voice of deception and destruction, instead of God’s voice of rebuke, correction and deliverance . Beloved, who is your prophet? A prophet is one who utters divinely inspired revelations : one who delivers messages that are believed to have come from God. True prophets of God speak the words of God in the name of God, but false prophets speak their own words in the name of God. Beloved, God’s message is not about what you want to hear, but about what you need to hear. False prophets will tell you what you want to hear, but a messenger of God will tell you what you need to hear. My dear, beware of false prophets! They are out to deceive and destroy their victims. So, study and meditate in the word of God and you will not be a victim of deceit. Be wise!

TOPIC : WORSHIP THE LIVING GOD
Bible Verse : You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3
LISTEN : Worship belongs to God. God is supreme, and the creator of the universe, hence, should be revered by all. (Luke 4:8). We should accord Him the honour that is due Him. His glory must not be given to another. We must not offer reverence or devote our respect to things that are not God (money, fame, beauty, power, humans, etc.). Nothing is worthy of God’s glory other than God Himself. This is why He warned the Israelites and we by extension, against worshipping other gods. The Bible says, “You shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3). God’s commandment to them was to worship only Him. That is, they must not worship any other god. When people worship other gods other than the living God, He is provoked. God does not take it lightly when He is denied of His honour and glory. He is provoked when something else takes the first place in our hearts. Beloved, is God the first in your life? If He is not, What has taken the place of God in your heart? Whatever takes the place of God in your heart has caused you to enthrone Satan instead of God. My dear, remember that worship belongs to God and be prepared to give Him His place in your life. When God is given the first place in your life, He will include you in His own plans. Be wise!
1. Bless God for today no matter what.
2. Ask God for forgiveness, and grace to follow His will.
3. Pray for wisdom to acknowledge His blessings in your life.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to love God.
5. Pray against spiritual wickedness, and ask God to keep you safe.
Today I prophesy to you, may you acknowledge and worship God as the only true God, in Jesus’ name, amen.
