Verse Of The Day : Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized. And while he was praying, the heavens opened. Luke 3:21
LISTEN : Dedication and genuine prayer to God will trigger an “open heaven.” An “open heaven” refers to an unhindered manifestation of God’s own presence and glory in the earth, to bless and touch every aspect of the person or people He wants to bless. God is willing to release an “open heaven” to us if we are prepared and desperate to provoke it. “Open heaven” is God’s desire for all believers in Christ Jesus. However, we can hinder “open heaven” if we refuse to walk in line with God. Our desire for an “open heaven” should be as a result of our hunger to please God through our lives. Beloved, God can open the heaven for you if you can open your heart to Him. You may ask, what should I do to provoke an open heaven? To provoke an open heaven you must walk in faith and obedience to God; be prayerful and dedicated to Him, have the fear of God and maintain a relationship with God and His people. (see Deut 28:1-2; Malachi 3:8-12; 1Thess 5:17; Acts 10:9-17; Ezekiel 1:1; Psalms 5:12; 84:11). My dear, open heaven will give you access to divine revelations, divine secrets, favour, protection, authority, divine provisions ; and access to the presence of God. Surely, the heaven will be opened to you if you will open your heart to God today. So, dedicate yourself to God; pray and walk in faith, and hunger for His presence and He will order an open heaven for you. Be wise!

TOPIC : A FAITHFUL HEARER
Bible Verse : But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22
LISTEN: Doers of the word of God are faithful hearers and not mere churchgoers. Going to church is not a guarantee that you are a true child of God. True children of God are known for their willingness to obey and serve God with their whole hearts. (Matthew 7: 21). They are not mere hearers but doers of the word of God. They are not just churchgoers but Kingdom citizens. They are not forgetful hearers but hearers with a difference. Beloved, do you know that churchgoing will only make people church members, but faithfulness to God will make them Kingdom citizens? Therefore, as children of God, our lives should influence those living in darkness not the other way round. We should attract the unbelieving world to our faith in Christ by the way we live. But when we go to church but refused to be transformed by the word of God, we deceive ourselves. Truly, self-deception is the worst form of deceit. But having received forgiveness for our sins through the death of Jesus Christ, we should make an effort to grow our faith and sustain our salvation. The Bible says, ” So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2 : 12). Beloved, as you hear, read, study or meditate on the word of God this time, allow it to influence your life. Be wise!
1. Thank God for His mercy today and grace for another day.
2. Pray for forgiveness and restoration of your life today.
3. Bind all satanic powers and cast them out of your life.
4. Pray for believers around the world, that God will revive them to do His will.
5. Thank God for answering your prayer.
May the Lord bless and keep you from evil. May the grace to do His will be given to you now and forever, in Jesus’ name, amen..
