Verse Of The Day : Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
LISTEN : You are not alone when you are with God. God will never leave or forsake you when you depend on Him. He promises to be with you at all times if you are obedient and loyal to Him. Sadly, fear of the unknown will not allow a lot of people to rely on God’s promises. They are blinded to the realities of the word of God. As a result, they walk in fear rather than walk by faith. Beloved, do you know that faith in God is a source of strength? Do you know that fear comes with defeat? You are already defeated when you find it difficult to trust in the living God; but you are victorious when your heart is firmly trusted in God. Faith in God amongst other things will free you from the spirit of greed, and enable you to be content with what you have. Our verse of the day says, “Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5). Does it mean we should not desire or work for money? Should we be lazy and depend mainly on others? Of course not! The Bible encourages us to live without greed, but rather be content with what we have. That is, we should not have inordinate desire for money, but rather trust God as our provider, knowing that He will supply what we need if we labour and trust in Him. This is why He (God) said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5b). Beloved, no matter your situation, just cheer up! God will never leave you, and will never stop providing for you. Trust Him and you will not be disappointed. Be wise!

Bible Verse : For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
LISTEN: Beloved, between faith and fear, which one of them is in control of your life? You will fail or succeed by what controls your mind. Life is a “battle field; ” as a result, everyday casualty is recorded. However, God is urging you to have faith, so that He will assist you in these battles of life. When Satan comes, he comes to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10). His intention is to leave you miserable and heartbroken. Beloved, whatever you are passing through, the devil’s intention is to see you give up on life and die unfulfilled? But I have good news for you, it is not yet over with you, God is still working for you behind the scenes ; and the raging battles of your life will soon be over as you call on God for intervention. (Psalms 18: 3). Beloved, you are not alone. God is with you. He will revive and refresh you with abundant life when the battle is over. My dear, be strong and learn to live by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor.5: 7). To live by faith is to anchor your hope in God. It is to believe God for the impossible (Luke 1: 37). Besides, it means to believe that whatever you are going through will soon be over. Henceforth, do not be distracted by what you see around you, instead, trust in the LORD and you will certainly receive divine intervention. Be wise!
1. Thank God for your life and the lives of others.
2. Confess your sin and ask God for forgiveness.
3. Ask God for grace to live by faith and not by sight.
4. Intercede for believers in Christ around the world for grace to live by faith.
5. Pray against all sorts of wickedness tonight, and ask God to keep you safe.
Today I prophesy to you, may God keep you strong and courageous. May the Lord help you to walk by faith and not by sight, in Jesus’ name, amen.
