Verse Of The Day : Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD. Psalms 27:14
LISTEN : You will lose when you lack or lose faith, but you will gain when you look up and hang on to faith. (Hebrews 11:6). In a certain land, two young men were lost in the wood where people rarely visit. To compound their woes, they both mistakenly fell into a deep pit ; as a result, all hope of leaving the wood alive was lost. They cried and groaned for days, starved and grew weak and exhausted, but there was no one to help. One of them, Mr. Newton with a fainted voice said to the other, “So, is this how we are going to end?” And the other, Mr. Robert replied, “No! Be courageous Newton. There is help.” “Help from where?” Asked Newton. “Help from above.” Replied Mr. Robert. Mr. Newton interjected, “Do not deceive yourself Robert, we are doomed.” Immediately, Mr. Robert replied, “not the two of us ; I am not doomed. I will not die here, I will go home alive.” Few days later Mr. Newton passed away, leaving behind Mr Robert who was weak but full of faith and courage. He prayed for divine intervention. Miraculously, few days later, there was an expedition to the same forest. When a member of the group spotted a pit and peeped to see what was there, he found out that someone was in there lying helpless. He beckoned to his colleagues who came and lowered him into the pit with a rope and he brought out Mr. Robert out of the pit alive. Beloved, faith works. Nothing is impossible until you accept it. People are defeated by their decisions, and not by their situations. No circumstance can stop you unless you decide to be stopped. When you hit the rock in your life, do not lose hope ; instead, look up and hang on to faith. Never allow “a road block” to end your progress. Instead, just look up and remember that there is always a way out. Be wise!

TOPIC: YOU NEED GOD’S WORD
Bible Verse : As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:2
LISTEN : God’s word is life and everyone needs it. Like our physical food, we need God’s word to live. Hunger triggers our appetite and make us uncomfortable until we have eaten and feel satisfied. Nothing will satisfy us when we are hungry except what we are hungry for. Besides, when we are hungry, nothing will make sense to us until our hunger is quenched. In the same way, When we hunger and thirst after God and His righteousness, nothing will satisfy our hungry soul but God. Only His words can truly satisfy our spiritual needs. Beloved, hunger for God begins when we realised our emptiness without Him. (John 15 : 5). We know we cannot survive without Him, just the same way we cannot survive without physical food. Hence, the need to desire His words. That is, to hunger for His word the way we hunger for physical food. God’s word is key to spiritual growth and maturity. Truly, we cannot attain God’s expectations if we do not desire His words. Our Bible verse says, ” As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (1 Peter 2 : 2). To be spiritually strong and matured, we must desire God’s word the way a baby would desire her mother’s breast milk. Only with such desire can we be fed. (Psalms 84 : 2 ; 42 : 1). Henceforth, delight in God’s word; study and meditate on it daily and your faith will grow. Be wise!
1. Thank the Lord for protection and daily provisions.
2. Ask for His forgiveness, cleansing and restoration of your life.
3. Pray for grace to hunger and thirst after God and His words.
4. Pray against every mountain of your life, and cast them into the sea forever.
5. Ask God for a good night sleep, and command every demonic spirit out of your life.
Today, I prophesy to you, may God help you to hunger and thirst after Him and His words, in Jesus’ name, amen.
