Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword. Hebrews 4:12

LISTEN : God’s word is the power of God. God expresses His will through His words. His words do not fail because He protects it with His power and authority. His word carries life and power. With His word He carries out His purposes. God’s word searches our hearts and powerfully penetrates our minds more than a two-edged sword can penetrate the human body. There is no part of us that is hidden “in the eyes” of the word of God. His words penetrate into our souls and spirits, as a sharp sword can penetrate into human joints and marrow. God’s word is alive and active, by it He discerns all our thoughts and desires. His word exposes to us all our thoughts and desires. Nothing can escape the scrutiny of the word of God. With His word He judges the wicked, saves the perishing, justifies the repentant, vindicates the oppressed, breaks chain of afflictions, heals sicknesses and diseases; sets the captive free, transforms sinners, etc,. God’s word is the vehicle He uses to establish His purposes in the earth. The Bible says, God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light!(Genesis 1:3). Again the Bible says, He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalms 107:20). However, we cannot enjoy the benefits of the word of God until we completely surrender to Him. Beloved, whatever you need is in the word of God. Explore and obey His words, and you will experience His blessings. Be wise!

Bible Verse : The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroys them. Proverbs 11:3

LISTEN : Integrity is priceless. It brings honour in the long run. Sadly, many people do not esteem integrity today. As a result, a lot of things have gone wrong because, integrity is missing in the society. Many believe that the world systems do not support integrity; but as Christians we should live with integrity. What then is integrity? In the Old Testament, integrity means “the condition of being without blemish, completeness, sincerity, uprightness and wholeness.” In the New Testament, it means “honesty and keeping with a pattern of good works.” This is what children of God stand for. We should live like our Master Jesus Christ. Jesus is the perfect example of a man of integrity. Satan tempted Him repeatedly to break His integrity and corrupt Him, yet, He never sinned (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus is the only one who lived a perfect life, and always showing a pattern of good works. We (Christians) are called to be like Jesus. We should bear fruits of repentance and stop living like people of the world. (Luke 3:7-14). In Jesus, we are new creations and can be considered perfect before God because of what He has done for us. (2 Corinthians 5:17,21). No doubt, living with integrity in a corrupt world is challenging, yet, we should be those who cannot be twisted or compromised because we serve a holy God. Beloved, invest in integrity because it brings honour and promotion in the long run. Be wise!

1. Thank the Lord for your day and the gift of life.
2. Pray for His forgiveness and mercy on your life.
3. Pray against following evil practices in the world; and ask the Lord to preserve you.
4. Ask for a good night sleep, and cancel Satan’s agenda over your life.

Today I prophesy to you, may God help you to live with integrity no matter what. May your life reflect the glory of God, in Jesus’ name, amen.
