Verse Of The Day: I left here full, but the LORD has caused me to return empty-handed. Why do you call me ‘Naomi,’ seeing that the LORD has opposed me, and the Sovereign One has caused me to suffer?” Ruth 1 :21
LISTEN: Is your heart broken? Is your world gradually falling apart? Are you almost swallowed up by misfortunes and tragedies? Are you confused about what else to do in life? Relax, it is going to be fine! Do not judge yourself by your present circumstances. God is with you. You might be shaken by circumstances of life though, but God’s plans for your life cannot be shaken. You may see nothing but darkness and hopelessness around you, but surely there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel.’ “Naomi in our Bible verse expressed her tragedy – ridden life.” Naomi and her husband Elimelech, and their two sons, Mahlon and Chillion went out of Bethlehem of Judah to dwell in Moab in search of food, because there was famine in their own land. Sadly, what looks to them like a breakthrough became a heartbreak, for she lost her husband and her two sons in ten years. Obviously, it was a bitter experience for Naomi and her daughters’ inlaw; as a result, she refused to answer her name, Naomi, which means pleasant, but rather wishes to be addressed by her ugly condition (bitterness). She believed that she had lost everything because her two daughters’ inlaw Orpah and Ruth had no children for her late sons. Now everything is gone, so it is time to return home to her people. . . As she arrives Bethlehem, when those who knew her (Naomi) saw her, they were shocked and exclaimed, “… Is this Naomi?” (Ruth 1:19). Her life was messed up by tragedy, but God compensated her in the end through her dedicated daughter in law, Ruth, who became the woman that gave birth to Obed, Obed to Jesse, Jesse to David, and down to our Lord Jesus Christ. What a blessing after a rain of tragedy and misfortune! Beloved, is your situation like Naomi’s? Do not give up! Relax, it is going to be fine. Put your trust in God and you will not be disappointed (Lamentations 3:37). Be wise!

Bible Verse : Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. Psalms 145:3
LISTEN: Give glory to God because our God is beyond compare. His glory is unmatchable. His greatness has no compare. God created the world by His word, wisdom and power. (Proverbs 3:19 ; Jeremiah 10:12). Hence, He is to be praised with all we have, and with utmost capacities. Beloved, who else is to be praised if not God? His greatness has no end. His greatness is unsearchable; that is, the greatness of His nature, and the perfections of it; these are past finding out; and so are His ways and works, and the riches of His grace. Our God is great and worthy to be the object of our praise, day and night (Psalms 145:1-3). Those who know God’s greatness should meditate upon it and proclaim it to others. The whole earth is full of God’s greatness and goodness towards humanity. Not only is God great, but He is full of goodness, showing covenant faithfulness to His people and gracious love to people everywhere. Therefore, those who have tasted His love should show their gratitude by praising Him and telling others of His mighty works. In this way, they will help spread His rule to the lives of others. Beloved, let us bring God unending praise for all his goodness and greatness. Remember, when we deny God His praise, He will surely deny us His blessings. Be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for His mercies, care and protection.
2. Confess your sin to God and ask for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God for grace to acknowledge His greatness and praise Him for who He is.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against your life.
May God open your eyes to His greatness. I prophesy to you, may God bless you with greatness and glory as long as you live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
