Verse Of The Day : Where there is no wood, a fire goes out, and where there is no gossip, contention ceases. Like charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire, so is a contentious person to kindle strife. Proverbs 26:20-21
LISTEN : Gossip fuels strife. What then is gossip? Gossip is information about the behavior and personal lives of other people. Similarly, a gossip is a person who often talks about the private details of other people’s lives. Gossips are good at destroying relationships. They are not happy when peace and unity exist between people. They say things that will help them keep friends at arm’s-length. They separate best friends. The Bible says, “A perverse man spreads strife, And a slanderer separates intimate friends” (Proverbs 16:28). Yes! Gossips enjoy conflicts, that is why they fuel strife. Strife is a very angry or violent disagreement between two or more people or groups. Strife is “the mission of a gossip” ; therefore, to enjoy peace and warmth friendship with others, you should avoid a gossip. Our Bible verse says, “Where there is no wood, a fire goes out, and where there is no gossip, contention ceases. Like charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire, so is a contentious person to kindle strife” (Proverbs 26:20-21). Beloved, what wood is to fire, a gossip is to contention. The presence of a gossip will create and sustain contention. Therefore, to put an end to endless strife, you must say no to gossip and gossips. He who tells you about someone else’s “wrong” or secrets today, will tell someone about yours tomorrow (Proverbs 11:13). Those who enjoy gossip because someone else is the topic today, failed to realise that they will become the topic tomorrow. Beloved, learn to keep your mouth from evil, and do not lend your ears to gossip. Be wise!

TOPIC : A GREAT PROVIDER
Sunday, October 21, 2018
Bible Verse : But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil. 4:19
LISTEN: Our God is a great provider. He will not leave His people destitute and miserable because He is our God, Father and Provider. Beloved, He created you and knows what you need, and will provide you with your needs. God will not allow you to suffer endlessly, but will surely provide for you. No doubt, people labour and make investments, but God is the one who gives the increase. If God does not bless the works of our hands it cannot prosper. God has given us the assurance of divine provision. If we can ask Him for it He will supply us with the necessary provisions. (Matthew 7:7,8). So, you must learn to trust Him with your daily needs and be confident that He will not forsake you. His supply includes all our needs, not just some needs. God is the source of all good gifts and provisions. (James 1:17). Whatever we achieved, we achieved by His grace, not by our strength. Beloved, think deep and you will realise that God’s hand is in everything. So, stop worrying about what to eat, drink or wear, instead, trust God to honour the works of your hands. He will surely bless you with divine provisions. Remember, He is our Father and will not leave us empty of provision. Trust Him and He will provide for you. Be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for provision and protection.
2. Ask God for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God to bless you with daily provision and support.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you, your family and the church of God.
5. Pray for peace of mind, good sleep and faith to be saved.
May the Lord bless you and provide for your needs. May you not borrow to eat, but lend to others. May this night brings you joy, peace and rest, in Jesus’ name, amen.
