Verse Of The Day : The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that has clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. Job 17:9
LISTEN : Righteousness according to dictionaries is, “behaviour that is morally justifiable or right, which is characterized by accepted standards of morality, justice, virtue, or uprightness. However, there can be no perfect righteousness without the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in us. Those who believe in Jesus Christ have been forgiven of their sins and given the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17). What a privilege! Therefore, we should avoid sin and its consequences. Sin brings guilt and guilt torments the conscience. People are often weak and sick because their consciences have been corrupted by guilt from sin. They lose their confidence because their consciences have been compromised. The devil wants us to compromise our consciences through sin and face the consequences. But the righteous guards his conscience jealously through obedience to God. Surely, whom the devil wants to torment he first corrupt his conscience. Beloved, because of the importance of a good conscience, God wants you to maintain a clear conscience (Acts 24:16). He wants you to hold onto your integrity and uprightness. Righteousness is a force that the devil cannot stop. He hates it when we live in line with the will of God. He knows that with righteousness you will get stronger and stronger, that is why he entices you to sin. Beloved, always live in line with the will of God and the devil cannot stop you. Be wise!

TOPIC : TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY
Friday, November 9, 2018
Bible Verse : Therefore be very careful how you live – not as unwise but as wise, taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil. For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise by understanding what the Lord’s will is. Ephesians 5:15-17
LISTEN : We are living in a wicked world, as a result, God wants us to take advantage of every opportunity, and learn to live with wisdom. Without wisdom life will be miserable and tragedic. Wisdom (the ability to apply relevant knowledge in an insightful way, or know and apply spiritual truth) is important to living wisely in a wicked world. The bible states categorically that, “Wisdom is the principal thing” (Proverbs 4:7) ; hence, no right thinking person can afford to live without wisdom. In Apostle Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians, he admonished them to live wisely and not foolishly in this ungodly generation. In the same way, we are to be very careful how we live, not as unwise but as wise people, taking advantage of every opportunity, knowing that the days are evil. We should live wisely by understanding what the will of God is in every situation. Beloved, “the present times” are dangerous, full of trouble and temptations, and only those who are watchful and diligent can escape it. (Romans 13:11). Finding the will of God in a time like this is what guarantees security, success and deliverance. My dear, God wants you to live in a way that His will, will not be difficult for you to follow. Beloved, be careful how you live. Use your time well, it is the greatest asset you have in this life. Therefore, take advantage of every opportunity you have to please God. (2 Corinthians 6:2). Be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for His love to you.
2. Ask for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Pray God to give you a heart of wisdom, grace to shun sin, obey and seek after God.
4. Pray and destroy Satan’s plot against you, your family and your nation.
Today I prophesy to you, may God give you grace to live wisely no matter what, in Jesus’ name, amen.
