Verse Of The Day : It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:26
LISTEN : Are you troubled, confused and frustrated? Have you prayed countless times and God seems to have abandoned you? I have a good news for you. God cannot forget you. He knows your needs and how you feel (Matthew 6:8,31-32). Surely, He will visit you at the right time. God cannot be late if He wants to deliver anyone from trouble (Luke 18:7-8). He comes at the right time and not just in our own time (Isaiah 55:8). And those who must receive from Him must learn to wait for Him in faith (Psalms 27:14). People tend to give up hope because they believe they have come to the end of the road in their lives. They believe it is all over, and therefore accept their misfortunes as their own fate. A lot of people think and end this way in times of troubles because they are not established in faith. Anything can shake them to their nerves because they are bankrupt of the word of God. Beloved, no matter what, you should learn to hope in God. Our verse of the day says,“It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.” (Lamentations 3:26). My dear, hope does not disappoint. Hence, keeping your hope alive is the key to your desired future. But when your hope dies, you have regrettably and unconsciously “murdered your future.” Beloved, be strong and wait for God’s salvation. Determine to keep your hope alive and God will certainly respond to your prayers. Be wise!
Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?

TOPIC: PERSIST IN PRAYER
Tuesday, November 13, 2018
Bible Verse: Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice. Psalms 55:17
LISTEN : No one can survive without oxygen. In the same way, we will die spiritually if we disconnect ourselves from God. However, our spiritual energy can be sustained when we breath the fresh air of prayer. When we communicate with God, we will discover His will and be delivered from our troubles. When prayer is genuinely made to God, answers can be expected. God never fails to deliver on His promises. He does exactly what He says He will do. (Numbers 23:19). Though, troubles may force us to think that God has forsaken us; but if we can pray in faith, we will surely overcome our problems. Beloved, God answers prayer if we pray in faith. (Jeremiah 33:3). When prayer becomes important to you God will certainly hear you. So, you must learn to persist in prayer; that is, to pray without ceasing. Those who will prevail with God are those who through faith will persist in prayer. David said, “Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.” (Psalms 55:17). David refused to give up praying no matter his situation. He prayed until he received. (Psalms18:6).He was not bothered about God’s delay in answering his prayer, instead, he was strong in faith knowing that God will surely answer him. Friend, are you tired of praying? Please wake up and persist in prayer! Pray fervently until you receive. Be wise!
1. Thank God for His provisions and protection of your life.
2. Ask for God’s forgiveness and restoration of fellowship.
3. Ask God for grace to be strong in prayer and faith.
4. Pray and cancel every activity of the enemy over your life.
5. Thank God for answering your prayers.
A WORD OF BLESSING
May the Lord bless you. May the grace to persist in prayer be given to you, in Jesus’ name, amen!
