Author: Bishop Julius Okarike
Verse Of The Day: And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let your enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you. Numbers 10:35
LISTEN: It is suicidal to walk alone or go through life without God. God’s presence is a guarantee of safety and protection. Where God’s presence is available victory is achievable. He who chooses to go with the presence of God has chosen the path of victory and joy. When the Israelites left Egypt and encamped in the wilderness, God ordered Moses to build a mobile tabernacle that will house the ark of covenant which is “a symbol of His presence.” With the ark of the LORD, the children of Israel made war and defeated their enemies. Beloved, life is full of endless battles. Sadly, those who are not well equipped for it end up as victims and losers. The devil is not tired of making war with humanity, especially those who claim to serve God. We cannot pretend to not be aware of these battles. How we fight will determine how we will come out of it, either wounded and defeated, or protected and victorious. In this battle, the only guarantee for victory is the presence of God. Truly, a life steered by the presence of God will find peace and rest in the midst of trouble. (Numbers 10:33 ; Exodus 33:14). Besides, God’s presence is the guarantee for His protection and directions. God cannot protect or direct anyone who chooses to make himself His enemy. To experience His protection, care and guide, we must value His presence. When we are under His reign we will be clothed with His love. (Exodus 13:21,22). My dear, God’s presence is available today. Just accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, submit to God, seek His face, repent and return to Him and you will enjoy His presence. Remember, when you walk with His presence you will win, but when you are empty of His presence you will be defeated and humiliated. Beware!

TOPIC : FAITHFULNESS IN SERVICE
Bible Verse : Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Psalms 2:11
LISTEN: Faithfulness in service is a mark of true loyalty to God. In every generation, God is looking for true worshippers; that is, those who will worship Him in sincerity and in reality. Yes, God is to be worshipped with awe and fear. Many claim to serve God today but do not have fear and honour for Him. Fear for God is a demonstration of true wisdom. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10). No man is truly wise who does not fear the LORD. The first prove or lesson of man is to fear God – that is, to respect Him. God must be placed the first in our lives. God should be our first choice in life. He is more important than our businesses, wealths, careers, etc. He is important than every other thing. God is greater than everything in life put together. Hence, when we make decisions, we should first think about Him. We should ask to know His will. Beloved, God cannot honour anyone who chooses to despise Him (1 Samuel 2:30). Beloved, we should fear God with a sense of reverence which is due to His supreme majesty. We are to serve Him faithfully and excitedly. Henceforth, let us live in line with His will, as we remember that He deserves our sincere worship and honour. Be wise!
1. Thank God for a wonderful day.
2. Ask Him for forgiveness and grace to live for Him.
3. Ask God to help you serve Him faithfully.
4. Pray against every demonic force against your life.
5. Thank God for answering your prayer.
A WORD OF BLESSING
Today, I prophesy to you, may God help you to serve Him faithfully as long as you live, in Jesus’ name, amen.
