Verse Of The Day : He does not fear bad news. He is confident; he trusts in the LORD. Psalms 112:7
LISTEN : Is it possible to live in this wicked world without hearing a bad news? Has there ever been a day we did not read or hear about killing, rape, disease outbreak, fire disasters, auto crash, plane crash, Kidnapping, terrorism, armed robbery attacks, war, and all manner of crime around the world? People live in fear of their lives on a daily basis, not knowing what will happen next. I have seen people slump and died immediately after hearing a bad news. Many are critically ill today because they are not able to cope with bad news. Beloved, bad news is not new to humanity. Therefore, whatever happens to you ought not to cripple you. No circumstance is too bad to leave you in a bad state. Did you ask yourself why some people are not moved by circumstances? Did you care to find out why nothing scares them? It is simply. They have their foundation in God. They make praise their lifestyle. My dear, he who is addicted to praising and obeying God cannot surrender to sadness. The Bible says, “Praise the LORD! How blessed is the one who obeys the LORD, who takes great delight in keeping his commands. He does not fear bad news. He is confident; he trusts in the LORD.” (Psalms 112:1,7). Surely, the devil cannot break a heart that is firmly fixed in God. Beloved, when you love, fear and obey God, you are confident that He will be with you. You cannot be afraid of bad news because you know that He is in control. Friend, learn to trust in the living God and the wicked world will not mess up your life with endless bad news. Remember, you are designed to win, so, cheer up! Be wise!

TOPIC: HAVE FAITH IN GOD
Bible Verse : Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God.” Mark 11:22
LISTEN : A fig tree was cursed by Jesus Christ for failing to produce fruit for Him and His disciples when they were hungry. (Mark 11:12-14). The next day as they passed by it, Peter reminded Jesus of the fig tree He had cursed the previous day for it has withered; but Jesus Christ responded, “Have faith in God.” I believe this was not the kind of answer Peter expected to receive. However, Jesus gave the answer because He wanted His disciples to learn a big lesson from the incident of the fig tree. He wants them to know that faith in God can make everything possible. When Peter expressed surprise over the withered fig tree, Jesus Christ in His reply challenged him to grow stronger in faith to be able to walk in the realm of possibilities. When Jesus Christ urged him to have faith in God, He was saying something like, “You should not be surprised that God did what I asked! You too must trust that God will do whatever you ask him to do!” In other words, He was challenging every believer in Christ Jesus to live in faith no matter the circumstance ; only until then can we receive what God has freely given to us. Beloved, the problem we have when we pray is not that there is no God to answer, but that there is no faith to receive. If there is faith to receive, nothing shall be impossible to us. (Mark 9:23). When there is no faith we limit ourselves. Beloved, grow your faith in God and you will grow in His grace.
1. Thank the Lord for His mercies today.
2. Ask for His forgiveness, Mercy and cleansing.
3. Pray for grace to live in faith and oneness with the Spirit of God.
4. Pray against every mountain of your life, and cast them into the sea forever.
A WORD OF BLESSING
You are blessed . May the Lord help you to walk in faith and overcome every situation confronting you, amen.
