Verse Of The Day : Take your share of suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:3
LISTEN : The Bible says, “For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in his steps.” (1 Peter 2:21). Believers in Christ Jesus are called to suffer for His sake. We are elected to follow in His steps to fulfill the will of God for humanity. Therefore, no matter what it will cost us to spread the message of His kingdom to others, we should do and ignore the stress, shame and the suffering. We should be prepared to make sacrifices in our service to Him. We may face hardship, persecution, molestation, denial, rejection, betrayal, attacks, etc, in course of our service to God, yet, we should be strong and courageous as good soldiers of Jesus Christ. God is faithful, He will reward us for all the pains, troubles and headaches we have suffered to do His will. But if we deny Him because of threats to our lives, hardship, rejection, persecution, or for love of the world, He will deny us too. The Bible says, “This saying is trustworthy: If we died with him, we will also live with him. If we endure, we will also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.” (2 Timothy 2:11-12). Beloved, are you strong and courageous for Jesus Christ? Are you spreading the gospel of the kingdom of God without fear or discouragement? Are you taking part in suffering for Christ as a good soldier of the cross? My dear, we have no part in His kingdom if His kingdom has no part in our lives today. No one will reign with Jesus Christ who does not suffer with Him. Therefore, if what we are suffering for Christ Jesus cannot change our minds toward Him, then we are sure to share in His glory when He returns. Be wise!

TOPIC : PEACE BE STILL
Tuesday, January 15, 2019
Bible Verse : They came to him, and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!” Matthew 8:25
LISTEN: Fear reigns where God’s presence is neglected and undermined. But when His presence is acknowledged, faith and peace will prevail. Beloved, is the wind of life up against you? Is your life gradually fallen apart? Are you in pain and heartbroken? Do you think God has abandoned you to perish in your troubles? My dear, be calm! God knows about your troubles and will deliver you. (Jeremiah 29:11).Friend, do not be afraid because God will certainly rebuke the wind that is up against your life. Never doubt God’s ability to deliver you like the disciples of Jesus Christ who responded in unbelief and fear when attacked by a heavy storm in the sea. (see Mark 4:37-40). They knew that they were in the same boat with Jesus Christ, yet, their lack of faith could not allowed them to know that with Jesus on board, they were safe. They sounded like Jesus Christ was not bothered about their predicament. They approached Him and said, “Master, do you not care that we perish?” (Mark 4:38) However, he arose and rebuked the storm and said, “peace be still”, and the storm was arrested (see Mark 4:39). Beloved, are you living in fear and doubt? Please do not panic, rather keep calm and have faith in God! Surely, He will rebuke and deliver you from “the wind” that is up against you. Be strong and courageous and you will not be disappointed. Be wise!
1. Pray and bless God for His mercies, direction and protection.
2. Confess your sin to God and ask for forgiveness and mercy.
3. Ask God for faith to believe that He cares about you.
4. Pray and destroy all satanic plans against you and your family.
A WORD OF BLESSING
Today, I prophesy to you, may God arrest what is bothering you. May the Lord grant relief to you and cause your fears to cease, in Jesus’ name, amen.
