Verse Of The Day : If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19

LISTEN: Just imagine yourself living without a brain in your head, is it possible for you to survive? Of course not! Again, imagine yourself in a state of coma, can life make sense anymore to you? Of course not! That is exactly what it looks like to live without God. Life is worthless without God. (Acts 17:28). Many people live their lives today without God. Some people think that God does not exist, while many others think they own their lives not God. As a result, they live as though everything begins and ends here (on the earth). What a senseless reasoning! My dear, life is short and the world is passing away, hence, to live just for this present life is to be lost forever. (Luke 12:16-21).Those who live just for this life and disregard God will expect extreme pain, distress and woe in eternity. Therefore, to escape eternal destruction, we should cease to live like the wicked. We should rather embrace the fear of God, and have respect for human lives. We should not be distracted by the pleasures of this life, or give up on Christ or deny Him in the face of tribulations, persecution and trials. Besides, we should not place our hopes in this present world but in Jesus Christ the Son of God. The Bible says, “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable ” (1Cor. 15:19). This means that, we just wasted our time and life on earth when we lived just for this present life. Beloved, you can decide your eternal future today. Do not live as though you own your life, or there is no eternity; instead, prepare for eternity today, refuse to be enticed to evil; be moderate with your life and dedicate yourself to the service of God as long as you live. Be wise!

TOPIC: I WILL TRUST IN GOD

Bible Verse : Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalms 20:7

LISTEN : Until you put your faith in God you cannot experience His faithfulness. To experience God’s care and protection you must trust in His power of protection. God is a solid rock. His name is powerful and troubles the kingdom of darkness. He is our foundation, strength and stability. Friend, your foundation will determine your stability; and who you follow will determine what follows you. Your victory in battles of life is a function of your source of strength. When your source of strength is weak, your chances of victory is slim. In the same way, when your source of strength is strong and reliable, victory is guaranteed. God is a strong tower (Psalms 18:10). He is a shield and refuge. He is a present help in times of troubles (Psalms 115:11). Those who love and fear Him run to Him in distress and are saved. He delivers His people from those who seek to destroy them. Beloved, is God your source of strength? Is He your help in times of troubles? Who do you rely on for deliverance and victory in times of troubles? In our Bible verse David said, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalms 20:7). My dear, the name of God saves. Therefore, do not put your trust in anything other than God, for they will fail you ; instead, put your trust in the living God. Be wise!

4. Ask God for a good night sleep, and pray against every evil plot against you.

A WORD OF BLESSING
It is well with you. May God grant your heart desires, and may you not be disappointed. And may evil be far from you, in Jesus’ name, amen.
