Verse Of The Day : Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 7:21
LISTEN : It is very easy to call someone your master, but difficult to serve as a servant. People hate to serve, but loves to be served. (Matthew 20:25-28). My dear, loyalty is not in what you say, but in what you do. He who claims to love God must prove it by his act of obedience and loyalty to Him. In our verse of the day Jesus Christ says to his audience, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21). Beloved, this statement should disturb the heart of anyone who wants to spend eternity with God. This statement reveals that, not all churchgoers will be saved when Christ will return to the earth. Not all who cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ will be saved. Not all who prophesied in the name of Jesus Christ will be saved in the end. Not all who do miracles in his name will inherit the kingdom of God. Not all who do mighty works in his name will be saved (see Matthew 7:22-23). Friend, whatever we do in the name of the LORD without sincerity we will end up wasting our time, deceiving ourselves and destroying our lives. God wants us to carry out His works in the world, as much as He wants us to obey His words. As a matter of fact, no matter what you do in the name of the LORD, if it is not done to glorify His name you have just lost His approval and attracted His wrath instead. Beloved, be real in your service to God and always be conscious of eternity. Be wise!

TOPIC : A LOVELY PLACE
Verse Of The Day : Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. Colossians 3:2
LISTEN : Heaven is a lovely place to be. God wants us to share in His heavenly splendor and enjoy His unmatchable bliss. Therefore, He wants us to make heaven our goal by directing our thoughts towards pleasing Him. My dear, to please God you must guard your thoughts at all times. This is because, what you think about, to a great extent determines what you do or become. Thoughts trigger actions, and your actions will determine your success or failure in life. It will equally determine where you will spend eternity – heaven or hell. Good thoughts will produce good actions, and bad thoughts will produce bad actions. You cannot be different from what you think. (Proverbs 23:7a). That is why it is vital to direct your thoughts in line with the will of God. In our Bible verse , we are urged to think about things that are above and not about things that are on the earth. We should constantly desire the blessings that God has prepared for us in heaven. (1 Corinthians 2:9,10). We should bother ourselves with the things of heaven and abstain from the evil in the world. Besides, our minds should be consumed with thoughts of eternity with God. A kind of life God has chosen to terminate the miseries of humanity. Beloved, to enjoy eternity with God, you must be eager to please Him. Be wise!
Prayer : Blessed Father, I thank you for such a wonderful day. Help me to always fix my eyes on you as long as I live, amen!
