Verse Of The Day : His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’Matthew 25:21

LISTEN : Imagine yourself contracting your house project to an Engineer. And when the project is finished, you are called over to inspect the project. To your greatest surprise you discovered that the builders abandoned the house plan and built something different and disgusting. Will you be pleased with the builders? Will you say well done to the man in charge of the job? Of course not! Beloved, will I be wrong to say that you have heard someone said, “Well done” to you or someone else? What does that mean? It means that you or the person in question have done well. When you hear “well done”, it means a job or something has been carried out successfully or satisfactorily. Well done expresses congratulations or approval for something that is satisfactorily done. Men can joke with the comment, “Well done”, but God cannot. You cannot hear well done from God until you have done well. (2 Chronicles 31:21 ; 2 Corinthians 5:9 ; 2 Corinthians 10:18). When God says “well done” to you, it means you have demonstrated faithfulness to His assignments to you. That you have performed accurately and diligently the work He has assigned to you. Beloved, the end of our service to God is to gain His approval. To hear Him say “well done, good and faithful servant” should be our ultimate goal. That alone will guide and strengthen us to keep serving His purpose even when we are rejected, despised, humiliated, harmed, oppressed, incarcerated, persecuted, betrayed, etc. Besides, we should do whatever we are doing for God very well. My dear, you might be able to do a lot of things for God at once, but are you doing them well? Are they done to glorify His name? Remember, you cannot hear well done from God until you have done well. So, do what you do well, lest you serve in vain. Be wise!

TOPIC : NEVER STOP PRAYING

Wednesday, February 6, 2019

Bible Verse : Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice. Psalms 55:17

LISTEN : Time of trouble is not a time to complain or murmur, but a time to pray to God. It is a time to engage the presence of God without ceasing. When you are in pain, pour out your heart to God. When prayer is genuinely made to God, solutions can be expected. God never fails to deliver on His promises. He does exactly what He says. (Numbers 23:19).Circumstances may influence us to think that God has turned His back on us ; but if we cannot stop praying to God we will surely push our ways through. (Luke 18:1- 8). Many people wonder if God truly hear prayers. They complain about God not given attention to their prayers, as a result, they stopped praying. Beloved, God hears prayers. He will hear if you can pray. (Jeremiah 33:3). When prayer becomes a delight, God will certainly hear you. You cannot be unseriouse with prayer and expect extraordinary results. You must persist in prayer. Those who prevail with God are those who through faith persist in prayer and praise. David said, “Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.” (Psalms 55:17). In this bible passage, David was saying, “I will not give up praying no matter what. I will pray to God until I receive. I am not bothered about God’s delay in answering me, for I know He will surely answer me.” Beloved, are you tired of praying? Have you decided to quit? Please stop! My dear, do not stop praying, instead keep pushing; for the answer you seek might be hidden in your next push. So, no matter what, never stop praying. Be wise!

PRAYER
Everlasting Father, you are the God who answers prayers. Therefore, I come to you today with burdens of my heart. Hear my cry and deliver me, in Jesus’ name, amen.
