Verse Of The Day : The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped… Psalms 28:7
LISTEN : A woman who is married to a poor, but hardworking man woke up one morning and walked straight to her husband and asked tearfully, “Dear, when will all these be over? How long are we going to go through this misery?” “Everything is under control.” Replied her husband. “Under control?” The woman screams. “Yes, under control. Everything is under God’s control.” replied the husband yet again. The woman believes her husband. Few months later, her husband was gainfully employed and their misery was removed. Beloved, how would you feel when a situation you thought you could handle gets out of control? How would you feel when a disease or ailment you thought could be addressed by a professional medical doctor turned out to have no medical solutions? How would you feel when everything about you seem hopeless? I know you will feel sad and disappointed. Why? Because you believe that everything is out of your control. Surely, in this life there are many factors outside your control, but they are all under God’s control. And when you are going by His timetable, He is able to take care of those things for you. Like the story in today’s message, what is out of your control is under God’s control. Nothing can be out of control when God is in charge (Mark 4:37-39). No matter the circumstance, if you do the right thing and follow God’s will, weeping may last for a night, but joy will surely come in the morning (Psalms 30:5). So, no matter what you see, just believe that everything is under God’s control. Be wise!

DO NOT DESPISE THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST JESUS

Bible Verse : For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
LISTEN: The gospel of the kingdom of God has been despised by a lot of people today, including some nations of the world. Christians are persecuted and incarcerated because the eyes of men are blinded to the truth and saving grace of God. The gospel of Christ will not make sense to anyone, but only to those whose eyes are spiritually opened. My dear, do you know one is lost without Jesus Christ. Surely, people are saved or lost by their own choices. Anyone who does not make the decision to be saved will forever be lost. To be lost is to live in sin, and refusing to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is to reject and despise the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross: to remain an enemy of God and be condemned forever. Beloved, we all have equal opportunity to be saved through Jesus by faith. Therefore, to continue to reject Him and His gospel is to choose to perish forever. The gospel has power to bring you back to God and give you a future. If till now you still see the word of God as foolishness, then you are doomed, unless you repent. The Bible says “For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.” (1Corinthians 1:18). Beloved, accept the gospel of Christ Jesus today. Hurry now for time is running out! The more time you waste the closer you are to hell. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear LORD, help me to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. And may I never take the gospel as foolishness, in Jesus’ name, amen.
