Verse Of The Day : Every prudent man acts with knowledge. Proverbs 13:16

LISTEN : Things get really bad because unexpected and minor problems are often neglected. In a system, no problem is minor. A neglected ‘minor problem’ puts a major problem on the whole, because one thing will lead to another. My dear, when something seems wrong, even a little bit of wrong, that is the time to check into it. It is a smart move to take each glitch seriously, and stop and evaluate before things get really bad. A story is told of a man who was embarking on a trip. His friend visited and saw him dressing up for his journey. And his friend asked, “My dear, I hope you are not travelling by your car?” “My car of course! He replied.” His friend asked again, “Have you fixed the problem with the break system? ” And he replied, “It is a minor problem, I will be fine.” He zoomed off and bid farewell to his friend and family. Few hours later, his wife received a phone call from the police, that her husband was involved in a ghastly auto crash and he died on the spot. Sadly, a lot of people are like this man in our story. They like to wait until things get really bad. They have no sense of urgency to issues of life because they lack knowledge. People perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). This is why the Bible says, “Every prudent man acts with knowledge.” (Proverbs 13:16). A person with good sense will always think carefully and act wisely. For he knows the right thing to do, and the right time to do it (1 Chronicles 12:32). Beloved, learn to act with knowledge. Fix minor problems in your life before things get really bad. Be wise!

Verse Of The Day : Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

LISTEN : Earnest and a heartfelt prayer brings answers to those who ask of God. My dear, are you troubled? Pray seriously. Are you sick and weak, and has done all you know but nothing seems to change? Pray! Are you experiencing crisis in your life right now? Pray. (James 5:13,15). Is your life fallen apart? Pray. Prayer gives peace to a troubled heart. It leaves worries in the hands of a loving and caring God. He who prays in faith cannot be addicted to worry. (Philippians 4:6,7). In prayer, problems are surrendered to God in anticipation of a positive outcome. When you pray knowing that God has heard you, you cannot leave in fear of your circumstances. To experience the joy and benefits of prayer you should pray with thanksgiving. You should thank God in advance believing that He has heard you. Celebrate His promises and accept them as yours. Beloved, without faith it is difficult to pray in times of troubles, and more difficult to pray with thanksgiving. People see prayer as a slow process to receiving answers to their problems. But those who understand the importance of prayer cannot neglect to pray, because they know that when God answers prayer, He gives a lasting solution. My dear, keep praying and pray with thanksgiving. Never wait to see results before you thank God, instead, thank Him to see results. Be wise!

Prayer : Oh Lord, pour on me the heart of earnest prayer, and make me to thank you for your goodness in my life, amen!
