Verse Of The Day : Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

LISTEN : A man was arrested and tormented for couple of years for preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. His tormentors offered to set him free if only he could renounce Jesus Christ and quit preaching his gospel. But to their surprise he said, “I will rather die than renounce my faith in Jesus Christ. I have no life or future without Him, and so are you. Kill me if you want to. I will be the happiest person in the world if I die defending my faith. If you think you can entice me with freedom forget it, for I am forever a prisoner of Christ; and my decision is irreversible. If you kill me now I will live forever with God. So, go ahead and do whatever you want to do. But before I die, I urge you to accept Jesus Christ and be saved. Today, I am innocent of your blood.” My dear, this should be the confession and decision of every believer in Christ Jesus. We should not serve God just for what we can gain in this life, but what we can gain in eternity. (John 6:26-27). Even if we lose everything because of our faith in God, we should determine to remain strong and focused on God who calls us. The Bible says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35). Beloved, your love for God should carry you through every storm. If you renounce your faith in Christ because of pressure, it shows you never believed in Him. Those who truly believe in Him are never afraid to suffer for His sake. My dear, fix your eyes on Christ Jesus and do not be distracted by what you must suffer for His sake. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : GOD WILL DISAPPOINT YOUR ENEMIES

Sunday, March 3, 2019

Bible Verse : Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is your sword. Psalms 17:13

LISTEN : God will disappoint your enemies. Surely, He cannot leave the righteous in the hands of his enemies. Whom the LORD loves He saves. He knows how to get him out of troubles. David was a man who experienced troubles in every side. But his faith in God delivered him from them all. He believes that God will arise and defend him. He said, “Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is your sword.” (Psalms 17:13). God eventually arose and disappointed Saul, Absalom, and other enemies of David. He delivered David from all their evil plans. In the same way, if you put your faith in God He will do for you what He had done for David. God is faithful and worthy of praise. He will not allow the righteous to be moved. Therefore, put your trust in Him and you will not be disappointed. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, thank you for saving me and putting the devil to shame in my life, in Jesus’ name, amen.
