Verse Of The Day : Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct he should show his works done in the gentleness that wisdom brings. James 3:13
LISTEN : A good conduct is a mark of wisdom and understanding. But the foolish and brutish don’t see any reason to be good. They have contempt for gentleness, forgiveness, peace, patience, kindness, Self-control and the like; but have love and respect for bitterness, violence, envy, strife and all manner of indecent lifestyle and crime. Beloved, wisdom is a vital part of everything. And life is empty and worthless without it. Wisdom is key to success in relationships, marriage, career, academics, business, health, etc. Wisdom expresses itself by the way you live. The Scripture above is urging us to prove that we’re wise by the way we live. My dear, are you a wise person? Then show it by your actions. To be wise is to show good judgment or the benefit of experience. Therefore, we’ve nothing to show for our intimacy with Christ Jesus if we’re not affected by His teachings and ways of life. So, to avoid careless lifestyle, you should regularly ask yourself these life-changing and soul-searching questions. 1. Am I living my life right? 2. Do I have life or endless time to waste? 3. Can I be made better by heeding and obeying the word of God? By the time you’re done asking and answering these questions, you’ll begin to watch your steps. You’ll see yourself applying what you know to be true in your everyday life; match your faith with godly actions, regularly take account of your life, and direct your love and interest towards eternity (see James 1:22-25;Matt 5:13-16; John 6:26-27). Remember, life is meant to be lived in the will of God. Be wise!

TOPIC : YOUR REWARD IS WAITING FOR YOU
Sunday, March 17, 2019
Bible Verse : Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 1 Corinthians 3:8
LISTEN : Beloved, your reward is waiting for you. You’ll not be disappointed when you follow the will of God. God created everyone to serve a given purpose (Jeremiah 1:4,5). Some are created to plant, while others are created to water what is planted. Those who plant are people who initiate wonderful ideas, projects, etc. They pioneer what others follow. On the other hand, those who water what is planted are people who enhance and facilitate the success and sustainability of wonderful ideas and projects initiated by others. They serve to keep a good work alive. They don’t watch good projects die under their watch. Beloved, whether you are a “planter” or a “waterer”, no service is too small if it is done to please God. Everyone cannot render the same amount of service though, yet, every sincere service no matter how small matters to God. Whatever service you render to God and humanity God acknowledges it. Whether you are “planting or watering”, your reward awaits you. Our Bible verse says, “Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.” (1 Corinthians 3:8). My dear, go on with your good works and you’ll be rewarded in due time.
Prayer : Blessed Father, help me to do your will always, in Jesus’ name, amen.
