Verse Of The Day : Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is helpful. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not allow anything to control me. 1 Corinthians 6:12
LISTEN : No one is born an addict to drugs or harmful substances. Addiction begins when you start and sustain a lifestyle, especially a negative lifestyle, and finds it difficult to quit. Habits they say, “is easy to form, but difficult to break.” Therefore, you must be wise when forming a habit. Never form a habit that will have a negative influence on your life. Don’t allow yourself to be introduced to a lifestyle that you will regret later. Beloved, not everything that is permissible is helpful. As a matter of fact, you should not allow any negative lifestyle to control you. But if you are already deep in addiction of any sort, there is hope for you. You have a lot to do to get out of the mess. Addiction has no cure, its cure is in your change of lifestyle. And you can make that lifestyle change today. Our Bible verse says, “Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is helpful. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not allow anything to control me.” (1 Corinthians 6:12). My dear, you must start by asking yourself this soul-searching questions. 1. Is this lifestyle affecting me positively or negatively? 2. Is it improving my health or destroying it? 3. Am I a success or failure with this lifestyle? 4. Can I be better off if I quit this lifestyle? If you are sincere to yourself, you will realise that, you are responsible for your problems. Therefore, you must be deeply involved in the recovery process. Take positive actions and be prepared to feel hurt. Be committed to your recovery and personal growth. Even if you fail trying to stop your addiction, do not quit. Be focused and remember that, your life is too precious to be wasted. My dear, with your cooperation, there is a way out of your addiction. Be wise!

TOPIC : WHAT CAN HE NOT GIVE?
Saturday, March 23, 2019
Bible Verse : If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him Matthew 7:11
LISTEN : God can give us anything, because He has given His Son Jesus Christ for our sins. If He can give the ultimate gift, He can give anything else. If our parents can give what we ask of them, God can do much more. The Bible says, “Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32). My dear, when you ask God for anything, He is honoured because, He knows that you believe He is well able to provide for your needs. He is always disposed to help any of His children who cry to Him in faith. He is not ashamed to be called our Father. This means that He is ready to do above all that we ask or think. Only God can give to us what men cannot give. God’s gift is both for this life and the life to come. So, trust Him. If He can give His precious and only begotten Son Jesus Christ for our sins, He can freely give us all things. Cheer up! God will answer your prayers. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear LORD, you gave Jesus Christ for my sake, and I know you can give all things. Therefore, hear my cry, in Jesus’ name, amen.
