Verse Of The Day : Certainly you made my mind and heart; you wove me together in my mother’s womb. I will give you thanks because your deeds are awesome and amazing. You knew me thoroughly. Psalms 139:13-14

LISTEN : That someone is different from you doesn’t mean he or she is better than you. You have your uniqueness and should be proud of yourself. We are all created differently and with specialities. God created everyone of us with unique features, personalities, and traits. Therefore, don’t complain about your weaknesses, rather give thanks to God for your strength, because He created you to do great things to the glory of His name. So, acknowledge that you are fearfully and wonderfully made; and that no other person can be you, except you, and therefore should celebrate your uniqueness. My dear, do you think you can accomplish something different and great by being the same as everyone else? As a christian, can you accomplish great things for Christ and His kingdom by being the same as the world. Beloved, you are created differently from others to make a difference. Your difference is in your uniqueness. Whether you are tall, short, plump, slim, smart, dull, a male or female, etc, you can accomplish great things for God. You can do this by being yourself and living in line with God’s design for your life. Whatever you do, make the most of it and pursue the will of God always. Don’t just be enticed to do what everyone else does, rather do what God wants you to do. The meaning of your life is in doing what God wants you to do. My dear, determine to live differently today. If everyone else is living just for mondane and material things, determine to live for Christ. If others are living in sin and wickedness, live for righteousness. If others are disappointing God, remain faithful and obedient to Him. Be who you are created to be. Remember, difference doesn’t always mean better. Be yourself, be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Don’t live just for material things, rather live for God.

TOPIC : GRACIOUS ATTITUDE

Wednesday, March 27, 2019

Bible Verse : Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is near. Philippians 4:5

LISTEN : Beloved, are you prepared for the second coming of Christ Jesus? If yes, then live wisely. Have a gracious attitude. That is, be courteous, kind, and pleasant, especially towards those of lower social status. In our Bible verse , we are urged to be gentle. Gentleness is not a sign of timidity or weakness; or a demonstration of folly, but a proof of godliness and wisdom. You distinguished yourself when you live gently and wisely toward others. My dear, God wants you to be gentle. He wants us to lead a gentle life. That is, He wants us to have or show a kind and quiet nature. He does not want us to be unnecessarily harsh or violent toward others. Gentleness is one of the “fruit” of the Holy Spirit, at such, every child of God should possess it. The Bible says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…” (Galatians 5:22,23). Beloved, are you gentle to others? Gentle people don’t terrorise or traumatise others. They don’t kidnap, maim, torture or kill others. They are peaceful and tolerant. They value human lives and respect God. They are conscious of their actions. My dear, be gentle and God-fearing. Be wise!

Prayer : Blessed Father, help me to be gracious and wise as long as I live, amen.
