Verse Of The Day : A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45
LISTEN : Our Bible verse today implies that, you are what you think. What you sustainably think about, or store in your heart will give birth to a similar action. You can’t think evil and expect to act good, just as you can’t habitually think good and enjoy to act evil. A little boy asks his father thus: “Father, why is it that, some people are good like you, and others are wicked? Besides, why is it that, some are willing to sacrifice anything for the well-being of others, while others are so selfish and inconsiderate?” His father smiles and gave him a pat on the back and said, “Son, you will not understand” The little boy replied, “Father, I insist, make me understand. For I don’t want to be bad, selfish, wicked, greedy or inconsiderate” His father looks at him and said, “Son, listen! Evil and good comes from the heart. What you allow into your heart will determine your actions. You will be bad when evil thoughts dominate your heart; and you will be good when good thoughts dominate your heart. Son, watch your thoughts and you will be a good person.” Beloved, this is absolutely true in real life. A bad person becomes bad by the evil actions that are produced by his evil thoughts; and a good person becomes good by the good works that are produced by his good thoughts. If you can guard your thoughts, you can be the kind of person you want to be. My dear, your heart is an integral part of your life. It is your priceless asset. Therefore, you must guard it with all you have. (see Proverbs 4:23). Don’t allow your heart /mind to be corrupted by evil thoughts, instead, think on things that are godly, and you will not fulfill the will of the devil. Be wise!

Bible Verse : I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
LISTEN : God can enable us when we have no strength. He clothes His people with uncommon abilities to do the undoable. My dear, faith brings us up to where God is. The realm God dwells is the realm of possibilities; and no one can access that realm without faith. The Bible says, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37). My dear, when God is involved everything is possible. Today, we can tap into such privilege of possibilities by faith in God. You cannot be limited by any circumstance if your faith is alive. But when there is no faith, problems seem insurmountable. Beloved, no matter what you are going through, you can learn to say, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). So, lean on God because He is the source of strength and glory. Be wise!
Prayer : Blessed Father, I thank you because you give strength to the weak and helpless. Therefore, help me to act beyond my abilities, in Jesus’ name, amen.
