Verse Of The Day : Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4

LISTEN : If you don’t make the decision to be happy, no one will make it for you. The choice to be unconditionally happy is a choice in the right direction. When something happens to break and sadden your heart, your reaction will determine whether you will be happy or endlessly sad. My dear, nothing can break your heart unless you choose to be heartbroken. You can break what intends to break your heart when you walk by faith, sustain your hope, and believe that God is in charge of your life. Joy is a choice you must make. You should determine to be ever happy no matter the circumstance. Apostle Paul repeatedly warned the people of God to be joyful in the LORD. This means that, our joy should overflow because of our faith in God. We should be happy because we belong to God and have eternal life in us. There should be no room for depression no matter how bad the situations are. Like David, we should continually be happy and offer praise to God. The Bible says, “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalms 34:1). When you choose to praise and bless God no matter the circumstance, you can’t find it hard to be happy. People find it hard to be happy and joyful because things happen against their will. But when we bury our will in the will of God like Jesus Christ did and say, “Father, let your will be done”, we will have every reason to rejoice even in bad and trying moments. Be wise!

Verse Of The Day : I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. John 9:4

LISTEN : God created everyone of us with different assignments. Therefore, you should discover what God created you to do and pursue it without delay. Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.” (John 9:4). Like Jesus Christ, you should know your purpose of existence. My dear, you are created to serve God’s purpose. And the purpose of God for your life is to do His will and faithfully spread the good news of His kingdom to the world. Fulfilling God’s purpose for your life is the greatest appreciation you can ever give to Him. Beloved, there is no better way to live than to live for God’s purposes; and no better way to die than to die in the will of God. So, pursue the will of God and fulfill His purpose for your life, because you do not have all the time in the world. Be wise!

Prayer : Precious Father, I know you created me for a purpose, therefore, help me to give attention to what you created me to do, in Jesus’ name, amen.
