Verse Of The Day : Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5:33 (NIV).
LISTEN : When God brought the children of Israel out of bondage in Egypt, He warned them against disobedience (Deuteronomy 8:11). He emphasised on obedience to His word. He warned them against rejecting and disobeying His commandment. He told them the importance of obedience to their own success and life in general. As a matter of fact, He made them to understand that, not to obey Him is to call for His wrath. My dear, disobedience to the word of God is the easiest way to invite the wrath of God. He who neglects to obey God must prepare for His wrath; because the wrath of God travels in the direction of disobedience. Beloved, God desires that you prosper. However, you can’t experience this blessing until you are willing to joyfully obey God. When you walk in obedience to God, God will work out things for you. Obedience to God brings success and life; but disobedience to Him brings failure and death. Our verse of the day says, “Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.” (Deuteronomy 5:33). My dear, do you want to truly prosper and succeed? Do you want to live and prolong your days? Then, obey God. Obey God and you will prosper, live and prolong your days; disobey Him and you will surely regret your actions. Be wise!

TOPIC : ACT IN A LOVING WAY
Tuesday, May 28, 2019
Bible Verse : Everything you do should be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
LISTEN : People want to see and experience love. Therefore, as children of God we should act in a loving way. We should show love to others no matter what. Because God commanded us to love, therefore, we should love always and not base our love on feelings. If we love base on feelings, when feelings die, love will die too. My dear, God’s standard of love is different from what the world calls love. The world takes love to mean how someone makes them feel or how they feel about someone else. But God says love is about how you behave and treat others. We children of God needs to know what true love is all about. Where true love is expressed, unity among believers in Christ and others will excel. Besides, it will keep people, relationships, family members, etc., together. Where true love is expressed, the loving nature of Christ will appear amongst the people. Beloved, learn to act in love towards others. Be wise!
Prayer : Most Holy God, I thank you for your words today. Help me to act in love towards others, in Jesus’ name, amen!
