Verse Of The Day : From the end of the earth will I cry unto you, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalms 61:2
LISTEN : People are often overwhelmed with different things in life. Some are overwhelmed with guilt, familial and marital problems; academic failure, ministerial setbacks, health condition, etc. What does it mean to be overwhelmed? It means to be crushed and overpowered emotionally. Many people are crushed and overpowered emotionally today by circumstances of life. Their lives are completely messed up, and there seems to be no hope for them. But I have good news for everyone today, God is willing to help if you are willing to come to Him. Beloved, are you overwhelmed with problems of life. Cry no more and have faith in God! (Psalms 42:5). When the storm of life rises up against you, God is the anchor of our souls. When we glue our life together with the Spirit of God, the storm can only push us here and there, but can’t end our lives. God is the anchor of our souls. That is, He provides emotional stability for those who are in distress. Most times it is difficult to know the worth of God until we found ourselves in serious troubles. In the same way, to realise the worth of the anchor, we need to experience the storm. God is our anchor in storm. Until we are threatened by the storm of life, God will not manifest His power in us. My dear, no matter the storm that is up against you, connect yourself to God, the anchor of our souls. With Him on your side, you cannot be moved no matter the circumstance. Be wise!

TOPIC : SHUN THE SPIRIT OF FEAR
Saturday, June 8, 2019
Bible Verse : For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
LISTEN : God gave us His Spirit with His Son Jesus Christ. The Spirit of God does not cause us to be afraid; rather He gives us power and sound mind, and enables us to know that, we belong to God. (2 Timothy 1:7; Romans 8:15). Every believer in Christ Jesus should know that God puts His Spirit within us. And His Spirit does not cause us to be afraid. Instead, He makes us to be powerful to work for Him, and He helps us to love others and to control what we say and do. Beloved, the Spirit of God is the Spirit of power and boldness. Power over sin, sicknesses and Satan. The fear of God is not the same as the spirit of fear. The fear of God is reverential, but the spirit of fear is satanic. Beloved, when you believe what God says and walk in the authority of His words, the devil will tremble and fall before you. So, shun the spirit of fear. Be wise!
Prayer : Heavenly Father, I thank You because you gave us the Spirit of power, love and self-control. Therefore, help me to walk in faith and love always, in Jesus’ name, amen!
