Verse Of The Day : For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
LISTEN : What we do with our lives today will determine what God will do with us tomorrow. My dear, wake up from your slumber and decide for Christ today before it is too late. You have the opportunity to be saved today because you are still living. When death comes you have sealed your fate for good or for evil (See Luke 16:19-31). There is no repentance in the grave. The Bible says, “Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go.“ (Ecclesiastics 9:10). This means that, there is no post-mortem plan of salvation. So, it is now or never. In death, no prayer for forgiveness will give forgiveness to the dead. Praying for the salvation of the dead will be a waste of time and energy. Praying for God to forgive the dead is telling God to do what He cannot do. Therefore, to make it right you should amend your ways today. Our Bible verse says, “For he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2). My dear, today is the day of salvation. After death, a person faces judgment, and loses every opportunity to right his or her wrongs (see Hebrews 9:27). As a matter of fact, the moment you exit this life, no matter who you are, you will face God. If you have rejected Him all your life He will reject you in all eternity. So, make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour today and you will rejoice in the end. Beloved, beware and be wise!

TOPIC : LET US BOAST IN THE LORD
Tuesday, June 11, 2019
Bible Verse : The LORD says, “Wise people should not boast that they are wise. Powerful people should not boast that they are powerful. Rich people should not boast that they are rich. If people want to boast, they should boast about this: They should boast that they understand and know me… Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NET).
LISTEN : My dear, boast in the LORD and not in your achievements or affluence. It is not wise to boast in ourselves but in the LORD. Our boast should be in the LORD and not in our names, fame, popularity, wealth, might, beauty, wisdom, intelligence, etc. What does it mean to boast in the LORD? It means to demonstrate that you know and understand God by the way you live and talk. It means to be moved by who God is, His miraculous works in the world, and His supremacy over all. It means to esteem your knowledge of Him highly than your achievements. It means to attribute all you have, or will have to His grace. (Psalms 62:10-11; Deuteronomy 8:11-18). Beloved, boast in the LORD. He is our life, our peace and our hope. Henceforth, let us boast in the LORD and not in ourselves. Be wise!
Prayer : Everlasting Father, I thank You for today. Help me to love, trust and make my boast in You, in Jesus’ name, amen!
