Verse Of The Day : And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the saints). Revelations 5:8

LISTEN : In our Bible verse today, Jesus Christ revealed to Apostle John how important prayers of the saints are to God. As a believer in Christ Jesus, every prayer you have ever made is in the golden bowl that holds the prayers of the saints. Beloved, your prayers are with God. If you are a believer in Christ Jesus, your prayer is with God. Our Bible verse today says, “And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the saints).” (Revelations 5:8). The prayers with God are the sum of all believers’ prayers through all time; as a matter of fact, they are about everybody and about everything that is consistent with the will of God. My dear, your prayers are not wasted. Your prayers are with God. If you pray for someone else’s salvation, that prayer is with God. The bowl that is full of incense in the hands of the twenty four elders which represents the prayers of the saints, also have your prayers in it. If you pray for God to use you as a vessel for His work in the world, that prayer is with Him. If you pray for God to deliver the oppressed and comfort the heartbroken, that prayer is with Him. If you pray for God to make you more and more like His Son, that prayer is with Him. If you pray for healing for the sick, that prayer is with God. Therefore, if your prayers are with God your answers are with Him too. For he whom God has his prayers in His altar will soon testify of the goodness and power of God. Be wise!

EVENING

TOPIC : DO YOU FEEL THE PAINS OF OTHERS?

Wednesday, June 12, 2019

Bible Verse : Bear all of you one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

LISTEN : Beloved, do you feel the pains of others? Anyone who has the fear of God is wise, and will not ignore those who are in trouble. Wisdom makes us more committed and sensitive to the pains of others. (Galatians 6:1-3). People tend to criticise and mock those who are in trouble. Sadly, a lot of believers in Christ Jesus do same. They are so blinded to the plight of others and fellow Christians. They have no concern or regard for those who backslide or are overtaken in a fault. My dear, wisdom demands that a more spiritually mature Christian helps the less spiritually mature believer(s) in their struggle of faith, and not mock them for their inability to overcome temptations. Beloved, wisdom is demonstrated by being committed and sensitive to the pains of others. So, let us demonstrate our wisdom and fear of God by showing concern to the plight of others. Be wise!

Prayer : Heavenly Father, I thank you for such a wonderful day. Today, I ask that, you give me a heart of compassion and concern for the pains of others, in Jesus’ name, amen!
