Verse Of The Day : Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever Hebrews 13:8

LISTEN : Are you looking for who to trust, or a shoulder to lean on? You can trust and lean on Jesus Christ. Are you looking for who to cry to or tell your problems to? Jesus Christ is the one! He is our access to God. As a matter of fact, God sees and blesses us through Him. Beloved, Jesus Christ is the same! He is the same Jesus Christ who raised the dead, healed the sick, fed the hungry, comforted the broken-hearted and bereaved, reproofs sin, etc. My dear, nothing has changed in Him. One of the attributes of Jesus Christ is immutability; that is, He is not capable of or susceptible to change. Like God the Father, Jesus Christ cannot change because He is one in the Trinity. He can change the unchangeable but can’t change or be changed by anyone or anything. God is too genuine to change; and too unchangeable to be affected by change. Our verse of the day says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). This simply means that, what He was when He was with his early disciples is what he is to us today. He is still the way, the truth and the life: and the sole access to the Father (John 14:6). He is still the only one who demons flee at the mention of His name. He is the same loving and caring Jesus who feels our pains and hurts when we hurt. Situations may change but God never changes. Therefore, to see God at work in your life, you should acknowledge that:

* Jesus Christ Is Still The Same – you can’t please God if you doubt the incarnation and divinity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came as a man though, but He is God. He came to call, cure and cleanse us. He came to heal and save us. And He hasn’t stopped doing any of those. He is still the same always.

* Faith In God Makes The Difference – the Bible says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6). Faith gives us the best of God. So, you should learn to walk by faith and not by sight. If you believe that, God can do what He has done in the past, then, the present and future can’t be different from the past. Beloved, have faith in God. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? Wait for God! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention. Psalms 42:11

LISTEN : Are you depressed? Have faith in God. Faith in God is key to divine intervention. When King David was in trouble, it came to a point that he became depressed just as you are, because everything seems to be going against him; but he encouraged himself by believing that God will certainly see him through. In our Bible verse he said, “Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? Wait for God! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention.” (Psalms 42:11). He talked to himself and stopped himself from further depression. He believed to see divine intervention in his situation, and the Lord did intervened in his case. Beloved, your case is not different from David’s; and God has not given up on you. So, hope in Him and you will experience His grace. Cheer up! Help is coming for you today.( Jeremiah 30:17). If you will put your hope in God you will enjoy His favour. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, you are my God and hope. Therefore, help me to continuously trust in you, in Jesus’s name, amen!
